Hi guys!!

I once again have a question. We've already received an e-mail letting us know that our application is complete and someone from the Vancouver office will contact us to schedule an interview. Awesome right!? However, I am currently here on a visitor visa set to expire in exactly one month and I haven't received word of the appointment yet.

Any knowledgeable member can point me into the right direction? Should I reapply for a visitor extension?

I appreciate it!!!

App received: August 2nd 2017
IMM 5669 and police certificate request: Sep 19th 2017
Medical Report req: March 20 2018
Additional Police certificate request for 2nd country I forgot to add: March 28 2018
Medical exams passed: April 2018
Eligibility passed: June 21 2018
Decision made in ECAS: June 22 2018
Landing interview e-mail: June 25 2018

Am in the same boat cbsa gave us 60 days hoping by then we should have got a response from cic. But none has come so far and we have reached the 12 month mark.i didnt want to go through the pra thing because of the expense.
Am really worried we still have two weeks to report to cbsa.hopefully a miracle can happen.
Oh ok but my lawyer said for me it’s just 8 months now I have applied and 60 days is very less time. And Cbsa officer told me if I go for 60 days time it’s not guarantee that cic will approve AIP so for me the other option was better but let’s see how things go I just hope we all get AIP and get a relief

Me! I haven’t yet and I know a guy who is also August in Quebec and haven’t either..
I know my classmate who was July 28th already had her PR Friday last week. She studied master in Canada (Ontario) then married a Quebecois citizen (not original though). She had worked in Canada for a few years, mostly part time job and paid taxes entirely. She did not apply Fingerprints and Police check in Canada. So her case was like less than 11 months since she applied.

I think it all depends on the officer reviewing our application. We have not received any update on our application either after we have sent the Medical on March and my ECAS acct is not being updated too. So its just really a waiting game.

Hi Everyone. Hoping someone here can help me clarify something:

We applied for OWP and PR awhile back but had to do a medical exam after receiving the first OWP to remove a provision on my wife's OWP so she can continue her work in childcare. A couple weeks after getting the new OWP we received a medical exam request for the PR portion of the application. The office we did the medical exam seems to think we don't need to do another one for PR since the OWP one is valid.

I've sent several notes using the govts webform and the msg is always " we've notified the relevent department and they'll get back to you if needed". The 30 day deadline for the PR health check has come and gone and on her profile it just says that a medical exam was not received.

Maybe i just need to find another clinic and do the medical? Any insights will be super helpful. Thank you all in advance again for all the help

I got my decision made email on June 8th, on June 13th, Vancouver office sent me an email with appointment scheduled for July 5th. They are pretty busy. If I were you, I would wait for few more days to see for what day will they schedule the interview

Is there anyone here that got the PR card on the mail yet? and know if it really takes 3 months? I got the card application linked on my cic, but I am wondering if it is the same as the process, really close to the timeline :)

Hello! Sep 28 2017 applicant here, and the same for me, there is no news since medicals passed , two months ago.
My wife and I had her application received on September 25th, so I think we will be one of the last ones to hear in September.

We live in Toronto, so I am guessing it will be the Etobicoke office that process her application?
