What is the difference between A11.2 and Eligibility?
A11.2 refers to the regulation A11.2 of IRPA which lists out eligibility. When writing notes, officers use A11.2 to say that the eligibility is met.

-What is the difference between Appears Met and Met?
The eligibility takes place 2-3 stages. First a program analyst or an assistant will review your documents and make a recommendation. This usually results in "recommended passed," or "review required." Then this recommendation is reviewed by an officer who will make a final determination, and provide the status as, "Passed," "Met," "appears met." All are the same. Some officers, especially who are veterans will always use "appears met," to save themselves of any legal liability in the future.

Thanks once again for the prompt reply....I hope I get mine soon...crossed 4 months already :D...more concerned because they have issues with the primary NOC and I cannot get a letter from the company for this....I might as well remove it but don't know if the officer will allow that to happen.

Very unlikely. In most cases security only starts after eligibility is passed. This is also because the security is a tedious process, which involves other agencies. So unless the eligibility is conclusively passed, initiating the security is pointless, and if the eligibility is not met, then doing security before will be worthless.
Thank you for you answer @legalfalcon. Is there anything one could do besides ordering notes? I haven't received my RPRF request (which probably means eligibility isn't cleared yet after more than a year (June 10 AOR)) so I'm guessing ordering 4th set of notes is useless (ordered 3 so far with zero updates)...I raised a CSE and I didn't get an answer as well (Paris VO). Thanks again..

Hey quick question, does anyone know if ordering GCMS notes slower down the processing time ?
No! It actually does the opposite. It speeds up the process i guess and also gives you update. Ordering GCMS is very helpful.

I mean ofcrse it give the update but CIC agents told me once that ordering notes can slow down the processing of the application.
It's almost 3 months i have received and passed my medical. After that nothing. I'm not sure if i should order GCMS notes or not.

Are you sure about that? I dont see any valid reason ordering gcms slows down the process. You can definitely order second set if its been more than 6 months or nearly six months. Whats your AOR?
