Six months is far too long a visit. It shows you have plans on remaining in Canada long term and effectively have no ties to your home country. You should have requested a trip of 2-3 weeks.

Again, that's too long a trip to request. You should have asked for 2-3 weeks.

I don't know what you mean by a dependent visa. There's no such thing as dependent visas for parents.

You also haven't provided the full details of your application or profile so that makes it very difficult to help you. Where are you from? What countries have you traveled to in the past? Exactly how much money did you show to support your trip? What evidence of ties to your home country did you include (proof of employment? property ownership?) and exactly what did you provide as proof?

thanks for your quick response. here are the details:
Name : G Balachandran, Age: 64
Spouse: Savithri Balachandran Age: 57
Nationality: Indian
Resident: Mumbai
We both applied for super visa on 26/05/18 as we wanted to visit our son and daughter in law are PR and living in Toronto. We are refused visa on 10/06/18 for the following reasons:
1. travel history (as I was employed in Tanzania during 1999-2008 the same was provided)
2. financial status (liquid deposits to the extent of INR8L) was provided with scanned copies
3. purpose of visit (merely to visit son and daughter in law for a brief period max 3 months)
4. Yes I do own a flat jointly with our elder son who is employed in Mumbai
