1. You must have your son's Canadian passport in possession already. If not, apply and get that first.
(Canadian passport/number is necessary for NICOP application for children born in Canada).
2. Ensure you have the original Birth Certificate (long-form, which has more detail. ) for your son.
3. Apply for the SNICOP online. Unfortunately the consulate no longer processes the nicops.
4. If you can't get NICOP in time for travel, you'll need to apply for Pakistani Visa for your son(you can do this via mail/courier i think).
See: http://pakmission.ca/visa.aspx
Email = visa.toronto@pakmission.ca

Other option is that you could obtain visa for your son, then go to pakistan and apply/obtain his nicop there at Nadra office.

LVO sent letter as of warning sort that they are giving us final chance to proof our relationship and we should persuade them as why we married with one being divorce and when there exist significant age gap. they considered that as non acceptable marriage as per pakistani culture .. thx to our idiot ancestors and last two generations of idiots who forgot the marriage age gap between Muhammad PBUH and Khadija RA.

What if you provide some fatwa or references that says there is no problem with age gap .. something like

http://islamqa.org/hanafi/askimam/15881

or

https://islamqa.info/en/146882

Tell them that these are authentic sites and a fatwa means a verdict on certain questions and our scholars opinions are documented in these links.

Also these are Hanfi sites so you can quote this
The state religion in Pakistan is Islam, which is practiced by 96% of the population. Freedom of religion is guaranteed by the Pakistan constitution. The Pakistani constitution established a fundamental right in which all Pakistani citizens irrespective of Religions have equal rights.[2][3][4][5][6] The remaining four practice Hinduism, Christianity, Sikhism and other religions.[6][7]

Muslims are divided into the following sects: the majority of them practice Sunni Islam,[8] while 5–20% are Shias.[8][9][10][11] Nearly all Pakistani Sunni Muslims belong to the Hanafi Fiqh Islamic law school.

Congrats to recent PPRs. Happy to see some action. Emailed LVO this week and got the below response. Any advice on how long it takes for PPR with the below email?

“Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your email.

Please be advised that your application is currently undergoing routine background checks. Should any additional information be required, please rest assured that we will be in contact.

Kind regards,”

no real timeline for background check, for some people it has been as quick as 1 day, for others they have been stuck in BCG for 2-3 months. on average i would say it takes 2-3 weeks. this is just an estimate going by what others have reported.
