ircc letter for what ?
As stated on the CIC website, to obtain the right police certificate for my country (the Netherlands) you must first wait until you receive an ITA, then upload a document stating you "need a letter from the IRCC to obtain a police certificate". and only then can I apply and receive it.This also applies to a few other countries.

There's people who have gotten their PCC approved without doing this, but I feel for something this significant, I rather follow what the IRCC wants.

As stated here at the bottom: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/netherlands.html
"you must upload a document that states: "I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from IRCC to get a police certificate" "

I would check older threads regarding this specific PCC as others have managed to obtain it without IRCC's request.

Still, it's not the right way of doing things if the IRCC specifically mentions they want you to do X, and you do Y instead. Given that it only takes about two weeks anyway to wait for this Police Certificate and I have plenty of time (work permit in Canada expires in March, 2019) I rather follow their instructions precisely.

Hey Everyone,

Firstly congrats to everybody that received their ITAs. I happened to have gotten picked as well today which was surprising, because I just submitted my application yesterday. although, I have made a slight error in my application. So there was this full time internship that I did for 6 months that I had counted in my foreign work experience bringing my score to 481, and only today I found out that, it shouldnt be considered, however there seems to be a lot of speculations about it and it seems like a gray area. however my experience certificate for the internship clearly talks about its technical aspects. anyhow today's draw had a lowest score of 451, and if my application is evaluated without considering the internship it drops to 456 which is still higher than the minimum score for today's draw.
can i accept my ITA and let it for IRCC to decide ? or is it safer to decline the ITA and resubmit my application with the new CRS of 456.

Thanks for your help!

Declining it would be a safer option as it won’t raise flags on your application. In addition, your score is pretty good which guarantees you ITA in next draw. Rest it’s upto you.

Thanks for your response !

on the ITA letter, it states that if your situation changes dropping your CRS, it should still be higher than the lowest CRS score of that draw which happens to be 451, and my dropped score of 456 if the internship is not considered is still higher. I mean I have all relevant original documents a'tnd references. seeing that the dropped score would still be higher than the minimum, wouldnt it be alright ?
