After eligibility, it’s bgc. According to my conversations with agent, she said bgc she saw could be days, two weeks or months. For which, I’m on bgc for more than 54 days and I called agent on 14th From AOR and she confirmed I passed eligibility and bgc also started. Till now 68th day from aor and 54 days after eligibility passed, I’m still in bgc and she predicted could be days, weeks and months and funny I am the one with months of bgc
What's ur stream ? I am CEC inland. I was just worried they finished my eligibility but putting note of review required. I wanna quit my job but I m afraid they will call my employer lol

Eligibility passed = eligibility done
If it’s not passed , rejection happens immediately
So in order for your background check to start , you have to be eligible.
So everything’s quite fine for now

Thanks

Hang in there until you get PPR n passport back with visa stamp. Or i would suggest until your landing as PR, same case as my friend. One jf my friend shared incident recently happened with PEI PNP applicant. A guy filed PNP n got 600 points n PPR n sent passport for stamping n knowing he got PPR, he quit his job and moved to Toronto, and on otherside, his employer called CIC n told them that this guy got PR because of their job offer but now he had quit, so CIC deducted 600 points after PPR email and sent his passport without stamp. So dont risk it since you have worked very hard to reach to this stage. Hang in there you are almost done

Eligibility is the first step
Then after the initial verification is done they’ll send your file to your LVO and only then such verifications are performed .
So they can do it or not it’s not compulsory
It usually depends on the recommendation from The CIO .

If I had been in this scenario, I would land as Pr and then move to Toronto not like getting ppr email and quit lol
