Hello guys! Which generic application form did you sent? The old one or the one from this month. I just noticed they updated that form. I was going to send my application today but now i dont know what to do

You should go with the latest one available on site. I am not sure which date they updated it. I used the one they updated on Feb 2018 and sent it yesterday.

Yes, i also used the one from february 2018 but 2 hours ago i went to IRCC website just to make sure everything was ok and the form was updated this month. I think maybe they did that this week! :( It's frustrating

My package was delivered on June 5th, 2018. I believe whenever they update the form they do have buffer days for you to start using it. It would make no sense for them to return the application if the form is updated today and they received applications with old form today. So if you haven't shipped your package yet use the new form. It basically same, no difference as such

Exactly. There must be a buffer period of one week or so, otherwise it doesn't make any sense.

looks like below are two questions i feel are added additionally.

* For this trip, will you use a passport issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan that includes your personal identification number?
For this trip, will you use a National Israeli passport?

more over those two doesn't apply to me, meaning NO. so i dont see a point in returning or asking for new form.

Hello everyone!

I was excited to post my update here today to say that our package was already received at Mississauga (expected delivery June 6th), but unfortunately that's not the case. It turns out that the clerk at the post office made a mistake and put my postal code as the destination on the receipt instead of CPC Mississauga's postal code! You can clearly see though, that I wrote CPC Mississauga as the receiver but they have attempted to deliver the documents back to my address.

For future applicants, double check and make sure that the destination on your Canada post receipt is Mississauga's postal code and not yours because errors can happen. I was happy enough that I now have a tracking number for my package when I sent it that I did not really check the receipt.

I still need to pick up my package at the post office tomorrow and re-send it right after, which will take 2 more business days. This means, if everything goes smoothly, they will receive the application on Monday. It will be a 1 week delay. :(

Hello, Can anyone give me some advice?

We are applying under Common-Law Family Class, and i'm wondering about supporting evidence for our relationship. Should I include real copies of the photographs we have together? We have a lot, dating throughout our relationship. I'm just worried that they won't send them back to us. They hold a lot of sentimental value, so I've made photocopies with all dates and locations.

Is it unwise to send a photocopy? should I include the real photographs?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks !

Hi!
I'm not sure about using photocopies, for what i understood they want real photos.
I read a few cases of people that got their photos back at later stages of the process. But I don't know if that happens with everybody

My understanding is, you could scan them and make Word doc, take its color printout on A4 papers. Photo should be clear and you should write occasion, date etc on to it.

My wife and I took photos of our photos and then printed those out.
