Hi I have got refusal for Canada temporary resident visa. I applied from Ireland and my European wife already has her ETA for Canada. But they gave me one major reason for rejection u won't come back to ur resident country after the visit. And 3 other reasons travel history even I had a travel to UK in 2016 and I went for London again for my biometrics for Canada application. And another thing which they mentioned in refusal my status in my resident country and that is stupid thing even I send them my Irish EU family visa copy which is valid until November 2020. And last one is purpose of visit which I clearly mention I am going for visiting Canada. But end of story whatever happened that is past should I go for appeal and I had visited turkey few weeks before or should I visit few more European countries. I am waiting for your valuable advices. Thanks

If you are just going for tourism purposes why not just visit another country? You will continue to have difficulties securing a visa because you don't have strong times to your home country if you are living in Ireland. Also you only have temporary status there. What is you country of origin?

No I don't have a temporary status here It is permanent residence visa it will convert into Irish p after more 3 years

Thanks for correcting me but still not citizenship so you are still living in a country other than your current home country based on your passport which is an issue when applying for a Canadian visa. Ties to your home country is a major factor.

I was thinking I will appeal for my Canada visit visa and show them I am just going my own then my wife is as ties for me to come back Ireland what you think

Hi,

1. As you hold an Irish EU family member residence visa, it is quite easy to get a visa to visit the UK.

2. Similarly, as your wife is an EU national, you don't need a visa to enter EU countries if she is accompanying you.

3. In your case, travel history would be to countries such as the US, Australia, NZ, etc. Travel to EU countries won't help unless your wife does not accompany you for those visits = You would need visas to enter those EU countries.

4. Regarding the refusal reason for immigration status, how did you initially enter Ireland? As a student/ visitor/ by marriage?

Cheers

Do post the list of documents for your reapplication, including for your employment + property ownership or a lease + loans/mortgage + dependent family members (apart from your wife) + financials, etc + any other evidence to prove why you will return to Ireland by a specific date after your visit (work or personal commitments or maybe a scheduled visit to another country).

You would also want to include documents to prove your wife is a short stay visitor who also needs to return to Ireland by a specific date

I don't have any property or mortgage in Ireland but I can get lease and never ever have any loan from bank but I get my salary in my account and it's balance is around 7000 euros and no any other source of income my is doing a part time job but I have a plot of land valued maybe more than 25000 euros

My plot of land is in Pakistan

You must include:
Employment: Employment letter + leave approval letter that states you will have your job when you return + salary slips/salary certificate + bank statement to which your salary is credited + tax returns

Ties: Copy of your lease + bank statement from which payments are made + marriage certificate + evidence you and your wife live at the same address + evidence she must return after a short visit + evidence if you remit money to family members in Pakistan + evidence of any work or personal reasons to return to Ireland by a specific date + the land ownership documents in your name + valuation of the land (documents must be in English or translated into English by a certified translator) + 2-3 months' credit card statements

Immigration status: Copies of your WP + EU family member resident visa + other similar documents (healthcare/insurance)

Also:
1. Do prepare a detailed day-by-day itinerary/plan for your visit (for sightseeing, meeting family/friends) with expense estimates. You must prove you have the finances to pay for this itinerary + airfare. If your wife doesn't work then your bank balance won't cover the costs for two persons.

2. Prepare a cover letter

Do you have a Canadian host?
What is the purpose of your visit?

No I don't have any host I just booked hotel booking and what about the air return tickets should I buy them before applying? And what is copy of Wp u ask me and how do you know all these things in very detailed I really impressed from you are you any consultant and can you give me your contact number so I can talk when needed. I really appreciate your help

You can include tentative flight itineraries i.e. tickets can be canceled within 24 hours without payment. Don't book tickets before visas are issued.

Do you have a Work Permit because you were eligible for the Irish Third Level Graduate Scheme (if you completed a Masters program)? Basically, you must submit evidence of your immigration status in Ireland.

You're welcome. No, I'm not a consultant :)

I also suggest:
1. You save up some more before reapplying for a TRV

2. If possible, find full time paid employment in Ireland and work for 5-6 months before you reapply

3. Try to build a bit more of travel history (either by applying for entry visas to EU countries without your wife and/or to the US/ Australia/ NZ)
