Yara I asked my wakeel to enquire about the latest status of application (since one year has been completed) using webform. His answer was they would simply copy paste the status from Mycic and which we already know. So theres no point in doing that. It really doesnt make any sense to me. What you guys suggest ?

i believe you can email LVO yourself also to inquire about status

November 15th, 2017 applicant. Posting after months since shifted to FB Group. File transferred in March to LVO. Background/Eligibility in process since early Feb. Nothing after that.

Can CIC extend the medical, my spouse medical is expiring on 2nd week of July. Is there any one whose medical is extended. OR
She does not have option to extend her medical
when we should expect her second medical' if it is not extended

My spousal sponsorship application status:

AOR -> 23rd Oct 2017
Medical done and passed
05th Jan -> Received an email from CIC Mississauga that my application is transferred to LVO
5th Feb -> LVO started processing my application (I checked online status)

Since then I did not receive anything from LVO.
What's next?

I am October 27th applicant. I am un the same phase as you. I belive none of the applicants from october got PPR yet.

i believe you can email LVO yourself also to inquire about status

I know but what should I do about this:-

its nothing, just a legal disclaimer to cover their behinds in case of lawsuits. all it means is that they can email you back with your answer. and use the info you provided to look up ur case

Point is I dont want to complicate my matters with lawyer and want ircc to contact him only. But according to this disclaimer ircc will contact me for any future communication instead of lawyer.

I can tell you this, he is 100% damn right. Many times in my life I wondered why the heck was something happening or not happening only to realize later that it was for a reason and for a good reason. There is a bigger Planner who knows what's good for us and what's not.

As far as my wife is, I will tell you in about 6 months Abhi to araam hai...

She said she contacted them and they said there was no red flags on file and the notes state the officer will start working on the file on July 1st. The reason it takes time just depends on the officer and their volume. In other words, a better way of saying lousy officers vs efficient ones lol. Let's see what they decide.

Today marks 6 months from AOR1.
This is heart breaking. I see some of you are almost at 12 months mark.

he booked his ticket for next month.
any special advice for him as he is coming first time to Canada?

to be honest with you i have doubts if the MP actually got this reply from LVO with that specific date. its too much of a coincidence that your 12 months will be up in July and they will start looking at your file only on July 1st. In my mind i do not think the MP actually got that reply, but just said july 1st since it will be 12 months basically.

i really hope LVO looks at your file earlier!

Ya we can only hope, I submitted updated communication of fb and whatsapp from date of marriage till today just so it saves time having something they may potentially request

What she told me was that it is internal information that they usually don't give out and that specific officer had a note on file that stated the bring forward date was July 1st. Rest God knows, with how things are it seems it will take that long judging by others applications. Sent updated communication of fb and whatsapp from date of marriage to now. . Just trying to save some time for what they may potentially request.
