Hi.
I am march 9 2017 applicant
I received my pre arrival letter on dec 21st and since then we have received no response. Last we checked from our MP in march 2018 she told us the everything is clear and background check is under process. But it has been a while now and there is still no response. It's almost 5.5 months now and our application is still undergoing background check. Also there is no such apparent red flag like second marriage or so. Is anyone here who has also experienced long background check without any apparent reasons? :/

Im at LVO but not Pakistan - im British..but who knows how they categorize things there!

I recently did. Even emailed them 2 weeks back. They dont even bother replying

background checks are out of the control of LVO or CIC. they rely on different government organizations to run these checks such as CSIS. some background checks can take a long time, we just dont know what causes the delay

what normally they do with Back Ground checks? some BGC are really quick and some taking months and forever

no idea honestly. i just know from reading previous experiences and from what LVO has told previous applicants that its not in CIC or LVO hands.

they just said my application awaits a FULL review in London
