hi
can you tell me which forms you uploaded? 1295 and 5257?? or only 1295?

Pls reply asap

while doing eligibility test there were two questions in which i am bit confused

1. are you going with spouse who is a worker in Canada? ( My husband is in canada and i am in india)
2. are you accompanying your family member?

pls help...
Your questions 1 and 2 are the same as mine ... I don't know how to understand those words. We are joining a spouse who is already in Canada, we are not going/travelling together/or accompanying, right ?

Hi Guys,
I am new to this forum. I have few questions regarding Spousal Open Work Permit.

1. I hold a closed WP for Canada, I am planning to apply SOWP (My wife is in India currently) online. Is it mandatory to provide my payslip, because I do not have any payslips generated yet in Canada.
2. My Wife works in India, Does it mean before applying she will have to resign?
3. I want to process my daughter's Visitor visa Application too along with my wife? does it need 2 separate applications or they can be linked?
4. Finally, any medical test or Biometric required?

Please Help!!! Urgent!!! Thanks in advance.

We have already got sowp. Thanks anyway
Hi Milkar, I applied for SOWP, I uploaded my passport, marriage certificate, his work permit but didn't upload his experience letter owing to that they refused my visa. If I apply including his experience letter, will that be fine?

Hi,
They said :
Based on your application and accompanying documentation that you have provided, I have carefully considered all information and I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations. Your application as requested is therefore refused. [X] As the spouse of a holder of a Post Graduate work permit, you have not provided sufficient evidence to prove that your spouse is employed in an occupation that falls within the National Occupation Classification Skill level of 0, A or B. You may be eligible to re-apply for a work permit if you are able to provide proof that your spouse is a skilled worker in Canada, which may include a letter from your spouse’s employer, stating his/her job title, duties, and salary. If you cannot prove that your spouse is in a skilled occupation, your application for a work permit cannot be approved without a Labour Market Impact Assessment from Employment and Social Development Canada.

Me & my wife , we both came as a student in Canada & we both hold a valid study permit.our class will start from 4th september:, however now I want to apply for open work permit as my wife is a full time student.Am I eligible to do it ? As I want she should continue her study and I can go for open work permit, though I’m also having a study permit, if I get open work permit then it will more convenient for both of us .i don't want to continue my study, i want to work full time to support my wife ,as well as enhance my work experience in canada.
1.So my enquiry is if husband and wife both are full time student in canada ,then can one of us apply for open work permit inside Canada.
2. what is the procedure to apply for open work permit in side canada .
3. Is there any one like us who have came (husband & wife) canada as a student and then one of them applied for open work permit & successfully got the open work permit ?

I’m looking forward to hearing from all of you as a matter of urgency.
Thank you so much indeed
