I don't meet the employment requirement but I have the matching work experience to the NOC

Hi, Need urgent help!
I am a commerce graduate and then have worked with KPMG as an audit associate. My work experience exactly matches with that of the NOC1111 but I am neither a certified accountant or a CPA as asked in the employment requirements in Canada under the NOC. Kindly let me know if that would be a matter of concern for my immigration process?

CIC does pay attention to employment requirements which could cause a problem for you. Can you find another NOC code without these requirements?

Post working with KPMG I have done my Masters in marketing but I've worked in marketing for only 9 months and I had to quit my job in February because of some family emergency.So technically i do have another NOC but currently I am not working. Would nine months be enough of work experience for a NOC?

Total work ex is 3.2 years(2.3 months in audit and 9 months in marketing post masters).

If you are a licensed/certified/chartered accountant in the country where you practiced, that is sufficient. It is not required that you become Canadian CPA before you become PR. After becoming PR, if you want to practice in Canada then you will have to become a CPA.

Technically, minimum 12 months continuous under 1 NOC is considered as acceptable for Express Entry.
If you can post all duties and exact Job role (mentioned on your offer of 2.3 months exp company), we can help you finding a different NOC.

You can still use the audit associate experience with 1111. You need 1 year of continuous experience in the same NOC to qualify for FSW. Moreover, 3 years of experience (any experience, non-continuous) will earn you additional points.

 Reviewing financial statements of UK based companies for compliance with the legislative and accounting standards, Mathematical accuracy and consistency.

 Preparation of summary lead sheets from underlying accounting records, roll forward of prior year figures.

 Utilize advanced data analysis and statistical tools to extract accounting records for verification.

 Prepare and send confirmation of balances as part of audit procedures and work on reconciliations of balances and agreeing to supporting documentation.

 Preparation of graphical analysis for business critical KPIs and link in
business understanding gained in various analytical procedures such as depreciation, payroll, interest, etc.

 Perform vouching and verification procedures and agreeing accounting records to source documentation/ third party confirmation.


All the duties exactly match the NOC1111 but unfortunately I'm not a certified auditor so can't use this NOC. Any other NOC you think can be used?
