Hey @Bryanna
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/can-we-seek-any-help-on-misrepresentation-refusal-of-5-years-for-trv.414894/

This guys parents got banned even though they sent a case specific.

On another note, Abudhabi didn’t answer back to my case specific enquiry .. IRCC CANADA did though teice and said they would forward the application to Abudhabi.

I’m freaking out after reading the above post.

Do you think it’s safer to withdraw??
You’re not doing yourself any favors by comparing your case to others’. Each one is different. It looks like you got lucky.

@bellaluna
We have already uploaded on his online application the letter of explanation stating the refusal and breakdown of each reason and it’s supporting documents.
Does that help convince the visa officer that he genuinely forgot to check yes for the question??

I remember Kazmemon's case quite well. You are unnecessarily driving yourself crazy. What happened to his parents was completely different from your husband's case.

Visa offices can take up to 30 days to reply to a Case Specific Enquiry. The visa office will not reply immediately or even within a couple of days

Yes Bryanna
You are right. Every case is different.
In the year 2015 i was applied for my canada study visa and in the year 2014 i got study permit refusal from USA.
But in the canada application form my representative gave one false statement that i dont have any refusal.
I was lucky they were calling me for interview. In the interview the officer asked me that did you ever apply for any other country?
I told her truth. I said yes i applied for my USA study visa and got refusal.
She asked me then why you fill in your application that you dont have any refusal. I told her confidentially that may be it is by mistake and really very sorry for that. She asked me nearby 5-6 questions, and i answered her all very politely and honestly.
Then after 2 days i got my passport with visa stamp.

Applicants can make mistakes. It is human nature. Visa officers know when it is a genuine mistake and when it is a deliberate attempt to conceal the truth.

Glad it worked out well for you

There were the full chances of refusal for me, but the visa officer understood the situation and call me for interview.

We have already clearly stated each and every point of our refusal in the letter of explanation that was uploaded so IF the visa officer really does go through all the documents then it should be easy to see it’s an honest mistake.

Overthinking.... no need to hit those panic buttons.... don't stress yourself.... be at peace with yourself.... your husband will most probably get the visa this time :)

In the meanwhile:
Don't go through old scary posts on misrepresentation.... Google is not your friend for misrepresentation..... take a forum-free holiday :)
