There's no border around Brampton. You best shot would be Etobicoke CIC office for landing, but you need to wait several weeks for an appointment.

I found a good article and shared it on multiple threads so that maximum people can read and get the information about step by step processing of PR application.

Unfortunately admin of this page decided to delete my post from every thread citing that I am flooding the forum.

Not able to understand what kind of policy restricts user from sharing information with more people.

A new week again and hope it will be a week of PPRs for all of us. Looking for that rain.
Looking at the way 2018 - January to March AORs are progressing, the chances are slim. But being positive is the only hope.

Status of processing in May based on the VOs. Ottawa is definitely the fastest.

Status as on May 27th 2018

Hi All,
I am a PNP-O applicant (AOR: April 21) and probably my application is in IP2 stage (as per wording in my BG check ).

I have shown Fixed Deposit as POF whose maturity is in April 2019 and I have the no liquid cash in my bank account (as per 6 month bank statement submitted) which is not my salary account.

Coming to the issue I am having, On Friday (25th-May) I got a procedure fairness letter which says that I do not meet minimal settlement funds criteria because I do not have liquid funds of minimum 15,531 CAD and they do not consider my FD for settlement funds because its maturity is in April 2019.

Now the questions:
1) Is FD not acceptable for POF?
2) Since they have given 30 days to prove my case, is this same as ADR or what is this stage?
My "Review for additional documents" says "We do not need additional documents." and I need to upload the relevant documents in mycic-account > view submitted documents > Proof of means of financial support.

Thanks for all the information shared in this forum and hope to find answers to my questions as well.

Everyone is in the same boat. Don't worry. It will go through soon. 6 months is the timeframe they have asked for.

6 months since AOR? Damn.. But I've seen lots of people who made it to PPR in just two months. What can affect a timeline of case processing? Visa office? Country of residence? Age? Or it's all the same for all of us?
Sorry for dumb questions, mate. I'm not a forum-guy, you know. In the last hour I've figured out a lot of useful stuff thanks to all of you.

Processing time depends on many factors, mainly on the complication of your file (number of translated documents, complicated travel history,..). Btw, folks who apply under CEC-inland, FSW-inland, and applying under any streams from US (residing in US) seem to have shorter processing time.

Thanks a lot, guys. I'm not the only one that got stuck in 6 weeks with IP1. I just have to calm down and wait. Thanks again!
