Hi,

My spouse also has non Canadian work ex for which I haven't got any points. I am planning to submit his relieving letter(which contains joining date and last date) for past employment and pay stubs+ generic employment letter for current employment. is this fine ?

Do I need to explain this in LOE ?

If you are the main applicant, you don't need to enter your spouse's work history as this will automatically require you to submit documents pertaining to his work experience but you won't be getting any points from it. What most applicants do is just enter the spouse's work details under the personal history to avoid the unnecessary documentations.

It matters because placeholders for you to upload your work experience will appear for whatever work experience you add in that section.

That's why you shouldn't over complicate the application and simply add that experience in the personal history section.
I am also planning not to include my spouse's work history,
Sorry for such a noob question, where is the Personal History section you are mentioning?
there are only following sections for spouse:
1- Personal details
2- Study and Languages
3- Work history

I will cut your veins too if my application gets rejected. I am going by your suggestion. I have filled the EE form but not yet submitted it so not yet in the pool. I left my wife's work section empty and it says completed.

What happened to your profile. Did you get PR without any documents
