.My son has been working hard since a year to reach to this level of international robotic competition and make his family ,his school proud and his country proud at such a young age and we always are with our children to witness their achievers moments so we applied as a family to cheer him and witness the glorious moments of his performance.

Can I send now a cover letter as supporting document describing my mothers condition nd me looking after her..

You must include proof that your mom lives at the same address + proof of relationship to you (your birth certificate/school records that have your mom's name) + doctor's report + medical test reports (for her cancer) + an explanation (you take care of her + she will stay with XX relative temporarily when you visit).

All documents must be combined as a single PDF and emailed to the Bangalore visa office + through the CSE.

You can send similar evidence to prove the strong ties of your other family members in case you wish to submit additional documents. IMO, it's too late to submit these documents but just maybe the visa office will consider them

Unlike visa processes for other countries, Canadian immigration will not ask for any additional documents unless the visa office has doubts/they believe they need additional information to make a decision.

That's why it is important to submit absolutely every document possible to prove purpose of visit + financial situation + individual strong ties to the home country.... at the first shot.


One other point:
Do include the flight bookings + the event schedule.... in the email and CSE to request for expedited decisions

Sure, you can.

To link, you must ensure that all input fields are filled exactly as per the application form. No blank spaces at the beginning of any field, correct spellings, place of birth field can be left as blank spaces, etc.

After linking, you will not receive any email alerts from VFS. All status updates will be given in the online account
