So what my lawyer once suggested to me as I was in a similar issue that I had applied for the Indian PCC (they retain your passport at the consulate for the PCC processing and they quoted me a 3-4 weeks time for receiving the PCC)here in Toronto was, that apply with the PCC payment receipt that you received and mention that it is under process and will take the above time. Once I get the document I will upload them right away.

In the end the PCC came in 1 weeks time so I was able to apply with the document

So if I go to India e.g. and apply and the receive the document imho it will not be accepted.
don't know about Indian PCC, but a friend of mine who got her Canadian PR last year, got her PCC made from Islamabad while she was in UAE. Actually I helped her get her PCC just a few days before her 90-days post-ITA deadline. I got my PCC from Malaysia the same way. My cousin got it on my behalf from Singapore. So it's not as complicated as you are suggesting. May be, rules are different for the people who are applying from Canada.

This mystery is bothering me...what happened on march 8?? Any ideas? Such a huge spike of 441+ 3959! and it didn’t happen later...
Hi, main reason was the 3 weeks interval between 84th draw and 85th draw. Consequently, CRS of the 85th draw rose much more and reached 456.

Although... I think that even if the interval between draws would have been of two weeks, still there would have been a considerable increase in the 441+ people and CRS always would have resulted higher than the previous (84th) draw.

Regarding the latter belief, I made a simple calcultation, as follows:

Candidates CRS 441+ as if by pool date (March 8): 3959 /3 weeks = 1,320
Candidates CRS 441+ as if by pool date (Feb 14): 2210/ 2 weeks = 1,105
Variation as value estimated for 1 week = 19% (1320-1105)/1,105

Well for no 2, why is the total no of admission is so low then? I mean in 2017 the total no of admission in Canada were 65415 only against the target of 71700. We already know there were over 84000 ITAs were issued in that year and since one single application resulted in around 2 admission on average, I find the no 65000 very low in that aspect.
Hold on your horses. Again. Amount of application is not amount of immigrants and amount of approved immigrants does not equal amount of landed immigrants.

Here is the last known report of landed immigrants (year 2016, as it seems year 2017 is not yet out).
So most of these people still used paper based application (as EE in 2015 was a very new thing). But as you can see they did fulfill their average quota - 60k federal economic workers against max of 59k and 46k of PNP against min of 46k.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/annual-report-parliament-immigration-2017.html

This is not to be confused with amount of approved applications - 53k by EE by the end of 2016. That means app. 100k approved applicants during first 2 years (and those 2 years were the transitory period in order to close most of the old paper based applications from 2014 and before).

I was in UAE for god knows how many years, for my WP to Canada I did apply for PCC for UAE and India within the country but here I was a resident. Now since I have moved out I should technically apply through the system or follow the process laid out and incase i end up entering these countries again I need to reapply for a new PCC
WP and Study Permits are essentially TRV (Termp Resident Visa) they go through security and background checks for sure, but are not scrutinized they way they are for PR application

Another thing that is mentioned in the report is that, they slow down the draw when there is large no of applications to be processed. That is why they end up issuing lots of ITAS, then they slow down and let the backlog to clear and then star issuing more again. This is probably why they are now more systematic, issuing two draws every month and gradually increasing the ITAs. I sincerely hope that they dont end up slowing again in the next 2 months as that will kill my chances of ITA. I am 437 and back in February when they came down to 442 I though my time will come soon but from Feb to May now they net drop is just 2 points to 440. Another 3 week delay at this point will kill my dream This is getting scary for me and I guess for many others as well. But my logic says we should soon see 3750 or 4000 ITAs from next month probably which will boost our chance.

I am the same. 437 since Nov. . I hope they clear the 440s and start from 435-440 range, that should help clear some of the people in that scope.

I feel sorry for you man, I know how hard it is to keep missing just for 0.5 in IELTS, I was lucky to get it in the first attempt, but at least you are quite close to increase your chance and when you get it, you will get the ITA for sure. I am on the other hand already sort of maxed my score, I can only add 3 more points through writing but I think that is extremely difficult to get. I tried twice and even though in my second attempt I felt my writing was better but I still got 7.0 in both try. For the latest result I even tried remarking but my points didnt get increased. Keep trying mate and I am sure you will break the magic figure. Some tips for you (Even though I am not very good at it myself.)
  • Use linking words properly.
  • Keep it simple and cohesive.
  • Use examples (made up or from own expereince) even if you are not asked to, that will make your writing cohesive and your arguments fit together towards your main theme.
  • Download the writing tips app by FR-Solution from playstore, that was very helpful for me.
All the best.
Thanks alot brother, we will surely make it ! :)

Hello to everyone, I've been reading the ROH since October and admire you all. My CRS is 423 and in 5 months due to B-day it will drop to 418, so chances for ITA are very low. I've got Masters and CLB 9 and 10 in IELTS, my husband aslo has got masters, both of them with WES evaluation, no chance for PNP because I only meet the requirements for Ontario but no NOI so far. I know my only option is French but I have never learned a word in French and there is no time for intensive studying. So my question is - if I apply with my husband non-accompanying my CRS gets 437 which gives me a pretty good chance for July oor August, is spousal sponsorship my only option after landing? For my country since Dec 2017 there are no requirements for tourist visa, so if my husband lands with us or a bit later, just to be phisicaly present there, could the immigration officer refuse him to enter the country. I know he won't be able to work but we have a little child and I will be scared to live without my husband. What do you know about similar cases?

Thx it makes sense now! So one three week draw will mess up the pool for weeks... Hopefully we don't see one soon. Also something happened in March or end of Feb with a lotta applicants above 441. Ok let's continue to see where this goes...

Hey guys,

My WES evaluation is due for completion on June 5th
Based on the past draws I guess the next lottery will be on 6th June.
I have a score of 484.
Do you think I will be able to get into the pool for the 91st draw ?

Thanks
Once you receive your ECA report, you need to upload the information to your application. I believe it take around 24 hours for the update and for the changes to be reflected in your application.

So, if you update your application on 5th June and the system updates your application and CRS score before the draw of 6th June (assuming and hoping there is a draw) you will get an ITA... else, wait for the next draw after 6th June...

I have got 432 points I was opting for another IELTS but my friends and other ppl are suggesting me to go for PNP nominations and saying that you can easily get that. But I am afraid how much years it takes to get visa through pnp process ? Is it really takes more than a year ? From Pakistan

Hi....who all have gotten their masters evaluated by wes as 'masters' ....is it only engineers because they have a 4 year graduation or others too? Because wes has evaluated both my masters as post graduate diplomas....and a masters would give additional 7 points

That is a very hard decision indeed. I think some people have already done it. You go with spouse non accompanying and once you get in Canada and have a job then apply for your husband which can take 1-2 years. Please search in the forum there are similar cases with some other applicants.
