Question!!
Hi guys!! What is next after medical exam? My application has been in process since January 05, it was transfered in April to Visas offices in Mexico then they asked for the medical exams and I sent it. How long does it take for the next step?
Ours was transferred in may last year ppr in march this year. No one can tell you how long. They may require documents. Who knows!!! Our background check took 9 months

Yup, everyone's case is completely distinct. Our file was submitted in October 2017. They requested our medicals before the file was even transferred, in December 2017. Our file was transferred in January 2018. They sent us confirmation of receipt and a request for a police check in March 2018. In May 2018, we received the passport request and pre-arrival services email on the same day. I think it really depends on the particularities of your case, and perhaps also whose desk you happen to land on.

Hello,
I have a couple of questions... what does AOR, ARC and PGR mean? And MCVO?

I would like to add mine to your data base. I applied inland.

Dear Brizzha -

AOR - Acknowledgement of receipt - the email that you get from the Mississauga office saying that they have received your package, and it was complete, and they are now beginning processing.
ARC - Authorization to Return to Canada
PGR - pretty sure this is the police certificate short form for the Mexico police certificate, but I'm not positive.
MCVO - Mexico City Visa Office. There are different processing offices all over the world, and Mexico City deals with much of South America.

Your application was fast....

Oh okay, I see that each case is different. I’ll just need to be patient. Thank you for your replies!

Received word May 18th that our PR application is in Mexico City and in process.
Can anyone help us out, seems to be hard to find info., as far as time line after it gets to this stage. Only thing we have left is; being told, the background police check is IN process (which we have read some people don't get told) and also, at this time no need for an interview, unless we are notified.
Any feed back would be appreciated!
Thanks!

My background check was never in process the whole time, from dec 2016 until oct 2017, it just went as passed after our interview.
Each timeline can be different, others who had also applied in dec 2016 who never got interview were approved in dec some before that.
