Hello
I am an English teacher and I have applied to take CELTA training in Canada this summer.
The CELTA is a certified license to teach English for adults. so it fits my professional career and work experience.
I an Egyptian citizen but I work in Saudi Arabia, however I applied online and it got reviewed by the IRC in Riyadh,Saudi Arabia
I have given all papers and bank statements with over 10000 dollars, the course is only 2500 dollars.
also showed them work experience and certificates, PLUS my 5 years valid USA visa....
and the still refused for the dumbest most useless reasons ever. I a starting to believe Canada refusues visas for money.....
these are the reasons please give me advice,

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your immigration status.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the limited employment prospects in your country of residence.

WHICH IS FUNNY BECAUSE I SHOWED THEM A VALID RESIDENCY CARD WITHIN SAUDI ARABIA AND MY ENTRY VISA!!!!

help please, thank you

The thing is that they don't want you to stay in Canada. So you are a citizen of Egypt but you are staying in SA which puts a doubt in their mind that you will try to stay in Canada too even if you want to do so legally. For study permit application, we have to prove to them that we have strong ties with our country and that we will return upon the completion of our course. But you don't have strong ties with Egypt since you have been living in Saudia Arabia too so given the opportunity, you may consider Canada too.

Secondly, the course you have chosen is a weak point. While it is related to your professional life and all but normally, Visa officers want to see a progression in Education. Like someone who has done undergrad wants to pursue Masters in Canada or if someone has done Masters then he wants to pursue Phd in Canada however a diploma or a certificate doesn't seem to be a proper progression. Hence the majority of the study permit applications based on diploma education are refused since they believe that English training would be available in Saudia Arabia too or some country nearby so there is no point in spending so much money on this in Canada when you can get the same training at a very little cost in SA.

Also they look at the financial returns of spending on education here in Canada. In your case, the VO thinks that this certificate wont help you much as far as finances are concerned in the form of better job in your country or even Saudia Arabia so it doesn't make sense to him that why are you spending so much on this certificate which doesn't have so much value in his eyes due to less financial returns.

My advice is that you should change the program. Go for a masters or Phd if you have already done undergrad.
