Should have no issues wity PR. The PR is denied on medical grounds only if the illness is long term, the treaent costs more than the average health budget per capita and puts the public health system under a lot of pressure.
In the case you have highlighted, it doeant sound as if its a continuous illness.

If you have signs of severe blockages that will likely result in another MI that maybe an issue but think it is more likely you will just be sent for a more thorough cardiac evaluation. That is pretty common request that many people have to go through. How old are you? Your age may be a bigger factor in your eligibility.
