Issue with current mailing address

Hello everyone,
I am Sachin from India. I am applying for the study permit.
My current mailing address for visa application is not the same as the address in the passport. Will this be an issue while processing the application?
If yes, I am planning to apply for re-issue of passport which will change the passport number. But, I have applied for scotia bank's GIC program using the current passport number. So, is it advisable to apply for re-issue of passport?

1, IRCC doesn't really care about the address on the passport, people move during the validity of the passport, all they care about is your residential address.
