So you sent it on both just in case ? I am considering sending via web form as well. For email I used the heading urgent perhaps they'll look at it faster lol and received confirmation so that went through.

Dear Members,

I am a PR and preparing to submit application and supporting documents for Spousal sponsorship (sponsoring my wife and children in Pakistan). My query is about applicability of form IMM3907 (Country Specific Requirements – Asia/Pakistan):

- IMM3907 checklist is still applicable to Pakistani applicants for Spousal Sponsorship?

Since there were changes made in the spousal sponsorship forms and checklist in Feb 2018, I could not find IMM3907 and the requirement for providing the educational certificates of my spouse in the checklist which is a bit confusing for me.

Kindly advise!
what is this form IMM3907? i have not seen it before and i dont see any reference to it?

Guys,

I'm a bit confused and want your expert opinion. It's been 1 year for my application and I was asked to do remedical which was done on April 30 ( last month). Unfortunately my chest x ray came out abnormal and was asked to do sputum test along with culture. But my sputum smear test came out negative and culture result will come out after 2 months. This is what I read on different forums as well ad IOM staff told the same.
Now I got passport request on May 17 and I'm a bit confused how can they ask for passport when my culture result is still awaited? I had read on forums that they don't make a decision until culture result is out. Please share your experience ( if any)

If I were you I would be happy getting passport request lol why bother questioning it. Many times they don't update information and directly give PR, that's what I have noticed so your results are likely already in

IMO its no more applicable, but there used to be a country specific checklist IMM3907 (I found its reference on this forum/thread). I do not see its reference anywhere, anymore. The reason why I am asking is just to confirm my understanding.

Since changes were made in Feb 2018 in spousal sponsorship forms, 2018 applicants could share their views on this.

I applied in Feb 2018 (using updated forms). There was no IMM 3907. Just follow what's on CIC website and download the forms mentioned there.

Hi everyone! I’m an October 2017 applicant and my file was transferred to LVO on February 1, 2018. The automated phone system (and GCKEY too, I’m assuming) says that both eligibility and bcg check are underway. I know this is different from most other’s timelines, where bcg check is one of the very last things to happen. Is there anyone in the same boat as me, or can anyone shed light on what will happen next with my application?

You have posted the same thing 5 times now. Since you have a lawyer, why not ask him/her?? He/she can check your GCKey and tell you the status. I doubt it will go into bgc that quick but you never know. You are a 2nd marriage case so I highly doubt it.

Do you say that to everyone who has a lawyer? Are you telling me that I should simply stop posting because I have a lawyer? You do know that this forum is located on the website of a LAW FIRM, right?
When you have a representative, no one can link the PR application to your GCKEY account. So my lawyer would not be able to check GCKEY any more than I would.
The reason I asked this question is because I, like everyone else here, is just trying to learn from other’s experiences.
I’ll keep posting until I get a reply. Watch:

They check travels and motives behind traveling in background check always, this is not somthing to worry about, The traveling only affect the application if someone travelled to countries where there is war, or famous for some kind of crimes , e.g mexico famous for drugs, Italy famous for mafias, afghanistan , iraq, syria are war torn countries etc
My husband only visit Malyasia and thailand to visit it?

Calm down..I never told you to stop posting because you have a lawyer. You had mentioned previously that you couldn't link to gckey because you had a lawyer so I was suggesting to check with your lawyer. But if you are saying that no one can link it then thats a different story. I dont know about that. As someone replied to you in another thread, just relax and pray. If the bgc has actually started then thats good. Normally it does not start that quick, and especially not for 2nd marriages. There are people from June/July last year still waiting.
