They are giving a preference to family applications first and then individuals. There have been quite a few updates on the whatsapp group with those having applied as a family.

You would think the individuals would process quicker as it's less work!
No, Canada has a tendency to prefer family applicants over single applicants as the country benefits more from family applicants as there is higher economic growth. Families have higher spending and are a more likely pool which would invest in real estate (buy houses). The overall decision of a family to move to Canada is more from a long term perspective. That's why we have seen a trend lately that family applications are given a priority.

ITA - Jan 25 2018
AOR - April 6
MEP - April 13
IP1 - April 13
ADR - May 9
ADR Submitted - May 11
RPRF - not paid upfront

My question is that does getting an ADR delays the processing.... I am waiting for my... RPRF request....and how long will it take after RPRF.....

ADR does not delay the process. RPRF request should follow soon. Soon can be a matter of days to weeks.

Hi,

My application has been in IP1 since 35 days... I have found people here stating that their's had been in IP2 for more than a month although it was in IP1 for less than a day..

My question is since my application has already been in IP1 for so so long will it remain in IP2 for relatively shorter period. Or will it also remain in IP2 for more than a month??:O:O

I hope I am making sense or maybe the insane amount of time I am being made to wait has made me lose all sense :(..sigh

Nowadays both IP1 and IP2 seems confusing. Mine is also on IP1 for 37 days. Nothing to worry. April AOR will start moving from next week hopefully.

Seen cases where RPRF to PPR is matter of weeks. ADR usually consumes a little amount of time. Expecting April AOR to start moving from next week. So you might get RPRF request soon if they are fine with your documents.

You mean to say single applicants and couples get PPR late?

I don't necessarily mean couples would get late. But, the priority is definitely families first. Also, I was just analyzing the tracker as well and filtered all those people with dependents as 1 (single applicant), no one with Indian FSW application has moved to IP2 (unless they haven't updated). Only few Indian applicants who have applied through PNP have moved to IP2 (the exact number being 3).

So I believe the priority order is like:

1. US Applicant (current residence as US) with Family
2. US Applicant (current residence as US) under FSW/PNP (Irrespective of nationality)
3. Indian Applicant with Family
4. Indian Applicant (Single) applied as PNP
5. Indian Applicant under FSW.

You can do a similar analysis for your own country and compare. I am not sure about this 100% but yes there does seem to be a trend.

*Comparison done only with India as I am an Indian applicant.
