Is old PCC will be valid if passport is renewed?

I took PCC for my wife on her existing passport for both India and Canada. Later I did a correction in of her Mother name in my wife's passport (reissue) then she got the new passport number where as PCC contains old passport number. is this valid ? Shall I use this PCC for applying PR?

No you can't use the old PCC alone. You have to get a new one for the new passport and upload both the PCC's.
