Harsh,
I am not sure about when did I pass the medicals(i did medicals around 20th March). My eAPR & AoR is 6 Apr and as I just mentioned couple of days ago I called and checked through an agent he said my BGC is still ongoing :( and the eligibility has not started .

Maybe it has got to do with my extensive travel history (72 trips in the last 10 yrs). I am here in Canada since the last 1+ yr working on a WP(LMIA exempted, NOC 0124).
dayum, Eligibility not started is really taking the whole process down. I have a friend she has been in CEC EE for more than 2 months and when she asked me IRCC said her eligibility not started too and bgc not started.

Even my eligibility passed when i asked them, I have been in criminality check for. 3 weeks now. IRCC seems to be slow even your eligibility pass

@bimale4bipeople : my timeline is about the same as yours. AOR on April 11 and portal updated my medicals as passed yesterday. BG is on process. I applied thru FSW EE and I am in Canada for couple of months, working on WP.

Welcome 2 Canada mate...
w.r.t your WP, is it LMIA exempted or does it have a LMIA approval ? and are you claiming points for the firm job offer ?

Got additional documents request today, but in message it has asked to pay RPRF fees. No additional docs were requested apart from that. Has anyone got this yet ? Does it mean additional docs will be requested after paying the fees ?

My job is LIMA exempted (it was more a inter-company transfer). I believe so - I did not check. I added the work experience.

I got the same thing in the profile. But the agency told me it was for RPRF. And since before that the status was no additional documents required, i presume this will change again soon...

Hello, I am a newbie here!!
This is such a great place to share info. Good to know :)

Someone please could tell me what stage I am at with my PR application?

Application status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Plus, I've submitted all the required documents and made a payment on April 29th.
and the above written is my current pr application status. Can somebody please tell me whether this is fast or normal?

Thank you!

1. Submit Eapr
2. Background status goes Not applicable
3. After passing medicals
4. Background status goes 'Your application is in progress' (IP1)
5. Again background status goes to 'Not applicable'
6. Next it changes to 'We are processing your background check' (IP2)

I dont know the abbreviation - this is what I found from a diff post

You're in IP2. There doesn't seem to be any "normal" with timelines when it comes to IRCC, but you're in background check processing. This could take days or weeks or months, depending on a variety of factors.

I am an intra-company transfer as well.
I was told by my lawyer(who were processing my WP application) that i can only claim points on job offer after completing one year(I am not sure if that statement was correct). So I completed my 1 year and applied for PR then to claim these 50 points.

My above statement may be wrong, but I am mentioning it to you(as mentioned by my lawyer) since you have a similar WP profile.

Here is the link on CIC website: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/eligibility/offer-employment/lmia-exempt.html

All this incase you have claimed points for Valid Job Offer and Work Experience in Canada

This have been my point......The progress of applicants review does not seem to follow the conventional IP1/IP2 timeline that we all have studied and monitor. For instance, Wannanepr9090 submitted his/her application on the 29th of April and he is currently in IP2 while many that submitted earlier this month (myself included) are still in IP1. What does this tell us? Personally, I think the officer progressing out application might not follow the updating sequence while doing his/her job. I believe that early IP2 might just be IP1 as most persons who have moved to IP2 within 1 week after MEP still end up spending up at least 4 weeks in IP2 (which is the time it takes in IP1).
Well, its good we all are here.......Lets see how early IP2 and later IP2 compares to getting PPR.

Cheers guys!!
