yes spot is wasted. But also person who wasted it will be have worst feeling for holding a winning ticket but unable to collect the winnings.
I understand your frustration but don't be disappointed, if you are eligible next year put your name in the draw. This year you were not eligible and one spot did get wasted, some one who was eligible could have got a chance to bring his or her parents, just like you want to!

hi fellow applicants, can you please help me with the following query?

A family of 4 (including parents) and the minimum income with the co-signer for last three years:

2015 - $51,654
2016 - $36,190
2017 - $49,619

I know this doesn't meet the LICO, however, now my yearly income is $95,000. It's a salaried job and can show proof of income from the company.

Do you think my application will be returned or they will consider my recent income? Your input is much appreciated.
Good luck! Can I ask what you have heard out there? Is there a way to bypass the rules for LICO? Please share.

Just noticed that the courier companies do not deliver to the PO Box addresses, a FedEx representative mentioned that to me after refusing to take the application package after seeing the PO Box address for IRCC's Ottawa centre.

Realizing that some fellow sponsors are scrambling to get the application package together, I thought its worth to highlight this and save their time. Best option will be to use Canada Post's Priority delivery option.

Good luck everyone!
I have used Canada Post Express, and the package was delivered next day. Well, could be longer for other provinces than ON, probably...

2018 to present (with 4 or 5 months income) depends on date of your application and than divide each year despite you are working for same employee. It's important as last column on same is family size they have to check for LICO.

good luck
thanks

The UCI # will be on the bottom left corner of the visa stamp. Check the below link for example:

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/parents-and-grandparents-sponsorship-2018.513951/page-109#post-6838178

For any section in the forms which you don't need to fill in anything, just type Not Applicable in the first column/ row.

I am filling the form Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) and we do not know the date of birth for my mother-in-law's Father.
According to the Guide @ https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5772-application-sponsor-parents-grandparents.html

Note: If you do not know the complete date of birth or if the date is in the 1800s, please use a “*” (star sign/asterisk) to fill in the spaces for the unknown year, month or day. The missing information can be added by hand however the form cannot be validated.

Should I just put the Date of Birth as **-**-****, if yes will that be sufficient or should I write a letter to explain it too.
Thanks
Hi All,

Could someone guide me with this?

There are 15000 lottery winners. Is it true that even if you have been selected, but they have already got 10000 applications, your application will be refused?

Provide copy of confirmation of PR paper and provide copy of the current PR card. Also, provide an explanation letter to the IRCC providing the details e.g. your PR card has expired but you have applied for it and it will take about 2 - 3 weeks, which could potentially delay the submission of application.
Just provide a copy of your expired PR card. It’s unnecessary to provide explanation as your status as a PR resident doesn’t end with expired PR card.

Hi,

My package reached to Ottawa today May 2, 2018. Is anyone maintaining spreadsheet for this group. If yes, please let me know what other details required for tracking.

Also is anyone received AOR yet, if yes then normally how much time it took to receive after delivery.

Thanks

Guys, I just want your opinion about something. When my mother signed and couriered the forms to me, she also stapled the forms. Do you suggest removing the stapler pins and using paper clips instead? Or do you think I can send the forms with the staples? I can obviously remove the pins but that will leave those tiny holes in the pages.

I could be wrong but I heard from someone that stapling the forms is not allowed so I have only used the paper clips on my previous applications (PR and citizenship etc). Please advise.

Hi All,

Can my parents scan the Schedule A form after they signed it then send it back to me via e-mail?

Or they have to send the physically signed form through a courier to me?

*It says on my invitation letter*
The Schedule A- Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) available on IRCC’s website should be completed electronically, validated and printed. Please ensure that the signature on the form is done by hand once it has been printed;
Thanks

Not that I know off. Shouldn't be too difficult to type one up though. Just be truthful.
Hello Razerblade,

I checked with CIC via call via facebook and checked with few immigration agents( was not a paid advise just on the fly kind off..so i'm not sure how honest they were) but anyways, I want to conclude with what I'm going to do in my scenario so that anyone else in same boat can use this information:

1. As I'm not sending my birth certificate so my application will be incomplete and it will be returned and I have to go through the whole lottery process again and who knows how long I have to wait ..so to avoid this. I'm attaching a LOE that why I'm not sending/including my birth certificate.
2. I received the Non-Availability certificate from "Birth and Death Registrar" office India in Punjabi so I will be attaching a photocopy of that ( attested from india) and English translation of that certificate ( notarized from India) .
3. Now the above docs are for not sending my birth certificate but to prove my relationship to my father ( sponsor and principal applicant)
4. I'm attaching copy of my surrendered Indian passport, as it has my father and mother's name ( missing last name from both)
5. For the missing last name I'm attaching affidavit from my father and mother saying that their names are First Middle and First Middle and Last ( from both mother and father)
6. I will be attaching my Indian Driver license copy as it has my fathers name as well.
----------------
Rest I will leave it to the officer and they can ask for more documents if required.

Hope this helps, if someone is also struggling with the similar situation.

Thanks,
