Anybody know how long it will take to get ppr after DM?? I got DM on April 11 2018 still no ppr. Anyone has such experience.

I noticed your Passport request came 1 year after your Medical and given that you are supposed to land on or before 1st anniversary of your Medical, did you then do another Medical Tests or what?

No ....they never asked me for medical again.

I Got CoPR and have until Jan 2019 to land in Montreal.

Now My queries are

1. Do I need to land Montreal only as per Docs...Asking this because I have read somewhere that I can land anywhere if got CoPR thru Quebec Skilled Program
2. Do I need to stay 2 years in Montreal in order to maintain my PR....Or I can move anywhere after landing in Montreal. Is this thing can harm me anytime in future for any reason.

Please suggest.

- You will have to land in Quebec.
- Not sure if at a later point they are going to ham you, but pretty sure you are giving them a good reason by not making efforts as you declared in your application.

I received DM and pre-arrival services invitation this morning!

IRCC received my application Novermber 23 2016
Medicals were received May 4 2017
I guess PPR and visas are within a month from now.

I landed on 20/04/2018 in Toronto because my flight terminate there but I have to take connecting flight to Montreal immediately. Iam a QIIP so I must settle in Quebec . Montreal is a nice place to live. Trust me don't fear about French. My English speaking people are here. I have started speaking little French now. Remember you can learn French free . Bon courage

Hi carlotanching,

I applied for the federal since Jan 2016 AOR was on Feb 2016 and processing was in March 2016
I got the pre-arrival letter Nov 2017 and request to update the file on Dec 2017 then no other news from them.
I am still waiting for the Medicals, then the PPR.

Patience bro. 29 months here with only AOR and still waiting. And yes, I think they stopped responding to status requests. I sent it twice but no response.
