That's fine. Mississauga office will review your application to determine if you are eligible to sponsor your family. Once they have done that, they will send your application to a "visa office".

My VO is Ottawa now.

Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in CPC-Ottawa for further processing.

Does it really matter which checkbox is selected? My sponsored person has selected the second checkbox (i.e. Proceed with the application for permanent residence). Do you think I can submit the application with the second checkbox selected?

Please advise.

It's your call. Second option is usually applicable if the applicant qualifies on humanitarian grounds. Generally a tough case to prove.

I was stuck like you but l did it the last question is the most tricky...how many people in this application? You have to count all adults including yourself, your parents and your wife if she consigned..meaning 4 people.

Hi All,
Just want to give you all updates regarding my parent's application.

Application Received August 02,2017
AOR Received November 27,2017

ECAS update: SA Approval and PR Application- Decision Made, and they started to process it on April 11,2018 (but no email received)
But on my GC Key, application status, the review of eligibility, and final decision are blank.

My parents are here in Canada and on March 28 they received medical request because we applied for their visitor's extension and Thank God they got approved and was given 1 year and 7 months extension. They did their medical on April 09 and it was submitted by the doctor on April 17. And before the medical request they already mailed the visitor's record to us.

Im praying and hoping that I will received an email with the formal approval letter and to which Visa Office they send our application.

If I pay the fees of Right of permanent residence, l should pay for this part :
Include the spouse or partner of your parent or grandparent

Processing fee ($550) and right of permanent residence fee ($490)
....which means 1040 $ for both of them? Plz tell me if I'm mistaken. Thanks

Total will be $2080 for sponsoring 2 people, if you include RPRF upfront.
