Our application was forwarded to Vienna two months after it was received. Every case is different so it’s hard to predict. It shouldn’t be too long. Once it’s forwarded though that’s when the silence begins!

Im hoping they'll at least give us the medical results before it goes to vienna and becomes silent?!

Our gc key changed like two months after they forwarded our application to Vienna. The results don’t update right away and all it will say is “you passed the medical exam”.

How long does it usually take to review medical results and back ground declaration? Its almost been 3 weeks since medical was completed and they both have been received. After these have been looked at THEN it will be sent to vienna.
waiting sucks :(

They passed my medical after almost a month.

Yes, I got it through the old fashion way, a package / letter that needed an signature.
COPR's are a always sent like that, I read that on the forum here.

Hope you hear some good news soon, you are having a big radio silence with your package.

Good to know, I havent reached that stage yet so i have no idea on what to expect. Did they update your online account yet?

Hope to hear something soon too.

A month medical exam was received?
Did you also submit back ground declaration during that time?

Yes a month after i did my medical they updated to passed. I guess you mean Schedule A? I sent that in when they requested police certificate, two months or so after i sent the sponsorship application.

Just the standard one from the country you live in, some send it with the application some later. I might get another request for a Canadian police certificate because i stayed longer than 6 months in Canada in the past.

I never got an email saying that a decision was made, yet ECAS showed Decision Made on my account and my sponsor.
In GCkey the info said that I was approved, but no mail about that. A few days later we got the COPR letter through a courier.

Strange, Vienna seems quite inconsistent in how they process applications. When will you be leaving our little country behind?

In the month October we will say goodbye to this country. We still have some stuff to do here.

My understanding is that you don't get an email with decision made, that only shows up on ECAS.

What I do recall reading on here is that there's usually a request to submit (copies of) the passport, sometimes new photos, and to confirm details such as address before the CoPR is issued and sent. Seems like you didn't get this, and just got the CoPR out of the blue.

Congratulations again!
