Yes, I work with my father(run his business) so its pretty easy for me to get a study leave

In some point, most employers are unwillingly to give out an absence leave letter depends on the scenario

But most other times too, if an employer decides to give an absence letter, it might be on the condition of working for them maybe 2-3yrs with your newly acquired qualification either retaining your previous position or a total new role

Well, try talking to your supervisor or employer to see how it goes only them will you know the outcome to your questions

You should be as flexible, calm, and politely persuasive with words when having this discussion
