A COPR predicament

Hello everyone,
I am in a little bit of a weird mind space right now, a quick backstory.
As of around 3 months ago I received an approved permanent residency application going through the family class spousal sponsorship. Everything went really well, and smooth. Myself and my common law partner were so relieved and happy to receive the news.

Fast forward to today, 4 weeks out from leaving back to Canada, I got diagnosed with IBD after having some intermittent stomach issues and went and had a colonoscopy done and this was the result.

Here is where my question lies, do I report this to the visa office or wherever I would report it to, or just enter as I usually would and get my permanent residency? Obviously I passed my medical initally as I received my approval.

Any information or advice would be truly a appreciated, many thanks in advance.

The only medical things they care about for spouses are dangerous communicable diseases and mental disorders. Spouses are exempt from everything else. Nothing to tell anyone.

As I am in need of medication every day for life (so I'm told) how do I go about getting that when I'm there? As it stands I have 4 months supply so will run out roughly 2 months in to be there.

You can bring a 90 day supply with you. You will need to find a doctor here in Canada to continue your treatment and write your prescriptions.

Okay, thanks very much. I'm guessing it's going to be a bit more expensive than the 15 dollars a month I pay now

You will have to wait for your health insurance to start in 2 months plus the remain portion of the partial month. You can look up whether your medication is covered by BC pharmacare. Jealous that other provinces have pharmacare even if you have a deductible.
