Hi, can anyone let me know please what is the maximum processing time for a PR application (skilled worker)? I applied 15 months ago, after receiving ITA, and to date no final decision has been made. My application seems to be stuck. Any recommendations on how I can get my application moving or who I need to contact? And do I need to redo medicals due to this delay even though cic have not requested them? Appreciate any feedback on this matter. Thanks in advance!

Hello, thank you for sending me the imm tracker, I didn't know something like this existed. yes we ordered the GCMS notes in December 2017, notes received in Jan 2018 and everything seems to be completely clear. application went into a standstill since last July 2017, minor updates since then. We have recently applied for another set of GCMS notes. Still waiting to receive them. I am just wondering if anyone else went through the same delay in getting a final decision on the application and if there is anything we can do. Thanks again!

I do believe 6 months is still ok, from what I heard most applications are processed in 6-8 months.

You are not alone,
I am also an outland FSW who is on my 12th month post AOR.
Ordered few Gcms notes, few call and raised monthly webforms:everything is in order according to them!they could not explain my delay.
However,I finally passed my medical in February 2018 and my file sent to Local Visa office,Pretoria.
I went for interview on 4th April and on the same day,I moved to IP2 and I was requested to redo our medicals.
Medicals were done on 13 April and we passed it on 18 April.
This is my story.

Thank you for sharing your story. Glad your application is finally moving, ours seems completely stuck :(... We just received our new set of GCMS notes and nothing, unfortunately, has changed. Again everything looks in order, but no decision has been made. Our medicals were passed way earlier in 2017. I've never used the webforms to inquire about our status. Are the responses useful?

Can I ask why you were asked to redo your medicals after passing them a couple of months earlier?

@Beltex,our medical were supposed to expire on 26 April 2018,since We can’t land with an expired medical. The Visa officer who interviewed me send us 5 different medical requests for each member of my family on the same day of the interview.

I finally got my passport request after 370 days,on the 03May 2018.
I have submitted our passports on the 08 May 2018 and are waiting for the visas+COPR.
I really hope that everyone waiting for more than 12 months will also be served.
