Hello,
-I received my PPR (Request for Passport) on 9th April 2018. My application with documents was submitted on 25th of December 2017.
-I added my wife as dependent in application on March 11th 2018 with all the required documents as we got married on 03rd Feb 2018. She was added later as I had already sent my application.
-I just received PPR by my name, not mentioning my wife anywhere in the letter (email) from Delhi High Commission.
-I would like to know what should be done in such circumstances?
-My wife also did not receive any medical request!
-I have also put up an enquiry email with IRCC. How long do they usually take to reply back as the letter states that I have to submit my passport within 30 days?
-Is it possible that I can submit my passport to the high commission and she would get another letter by her name?
Please advise. Need an expert advise as I do not want to misrepresent any information.

Today is exactly 4 weeks (1 month) since I had DM and not a word from them so far. I called CIC a few weeks back and the agent told me that my approved file was inputted into Etobicoke system on March 15 and that I should hear from them within 10 weeks. I emailed Etobicoke and they told me the same thing except that I will hear from them with 6 - 9 weeks. So my wait goes on !!!!!!

Congrats! What's your visa office?
Thank you! Mine is vancouver. It is funny because I still haven’t received SA nor AIP yet but got the email about the interview right after it changed to DM. I guess it depends on the officer. Hope you’ll receive the email about the interview soon

I have a question. Did you apply for another work permit to remove the restrictions? I'm still contemplating whether I would or wait for my PR bec I also work in the healthcare field but currently on maternity leave.
what do you mean by restrictions? Are they case-specific?

In my case, I didn't do the medical exam up front, so when I got my work permit it stated that I wasn't allowed to work with children (like at a school or in child care) or in healthcare services. Since I previously worked in the medical field before moving to Canada, it meant I was still unable to look for a job in my field. My options were to either wait until PR went through, or to go do the medical exam (before the government officially requested it) and then reapply for a work permit and pay the $255 again to try to get a work permit without the restrictions. In my case, it wouldn't have really been worth it to try for another work permit, because it could have taken up to four months plus however long it took to get the medical exam done, and I ended up getting PR right around the time I would have gotten a second work permit.

Like what @lizard_14256 said. Hahaha! The sad thing about my situation is that I was already working in a healthcare facility here in Canada and waiting for my permit to go back to work. However, I gave birth 2 months ago and will try to apply for EI.
