What is the next step?

you will get confirmation from CIC that application has been received in apporx 1 to 1.5 months

same is the case with me ..they r working very fast.. now my application is forwarded to ndvo today i.e 11-04-2018.. lets see how fast ndvo works!! fingers crossed

NDVO is usually 12 months.

Yep in total a period of 12 months, complicated cases may drag a bit. another 9 or 10 months to go.... same here... its the wait game.

am still waiting to submit my husband's police clearance doc from UAE and India. India just requested, may take up to 5 days. UAE was simple, easy and quick, took only 2 hours, was an online application. India as always . Once that's uploaded, next step should be an update from CIC on the visa office that our files are assigned to... could be London or Abudhabi. Yea.. lets all kp our fingers crossed.. that's the best we can do.

for me PCC took 10 days.. luckily I have applied before CIC asked me... the moment cic asked for pcc i was ready

That was a smart move. did think on those lines, but knowing CIC I thought its going to take forever so might as well wait... and to our surprise CIC was ahead of the game ...lollll

by god's grace till now i have submitted all the documents on the same day which expedited my application i thought so!!

Good luck! hopefully next week i can submit his police clearance online and then wait for CIC to update on the visa office. my guess is London office.
