Passport was submitted to VFS on March 23 and on March 26 it has been in New Delhi, in process. It's taking longer. Any other folks on the same sort of time-frame as us?

Update: Got the Final Decision Made of Approved today, April 10. Now just waiting for the passport which is with High Commission in New Delhi.

When did ur background check status change from not applicable to in process??.. actually it’s a good sign .. it means ur applicantion is about to get decision made soon

Probably because they are focusing on the complicated/unclear/not straight forward cases of some of April & May applicants, once those are cleared then they would continue with the normal queue - thats my guess.

No its just says in gc key that we have started processing your BGC

Does any one knows if after BGC in process is DM the next step or anything else can come up..my bgc started on 27 feb and nothing after that..

I don't think anyone knows as there was a system update done on 27 February and it appears everyone whose background was N/A was changed to in process (my husband's included). It would be nice that it meant that those who were updated with the system update are considered straight forward and will be getting their decisions/PPR when NDVO gets to their month. However that might just be wishful thinking on my part as there doesn't seem to any kind of pattern that NDVO follows.

I'm curious if anyone who has received a phone interview or in person interview/request for in person interview also had their background check updated to in process from N/A on 27 February.
