Hi, I tried looking through the thread but couldn't find a specific answer.

I live with my wife and our son. My daughter lives with her mom but I support her financially, my guess is she's still considered my dependent.

I was selected to sponsor. My intent is to sponsor my father and his common law spouse (they've been together for 20+ years)

Now, I don't remember what exact numbers I entered on my interest to apply form. Is there a way to see or request the information entered? Will the application be affected if the numbers don't match?

I believe I entered 4 family members in the household but with the intention of sponsoring 1 person. (Should I have entered my dad's spouse?)

Any guidance on these items will be greatly appreciated.

Think it should be 6 family members. Even though you daughter doesn't live with you she is your dependent. Yes you need to add your father's wife.

Thanks for the quick reply.

If I didn't enter the correct information initially, do you think the application will be denied for that matter? Or is the actual application the one that counts?

I was hoping not to have my wife co-sign sponsorship for my mom but I am confused. Any help is much appreciated.

My family size was 3 in 2015 and 2016. My daughter was born in 2017 so now the family size is 4. For current undertaking, while sponsoring my mom the family size grows to 5.

I have the notice of assessment from 2015, 2016 and 2017. For all three years should I have to consider family size to be 5? Or can I consider family size of 4 for 2015 & 2016 while consider 5 for 2017?

The reason I ask is for 2015 I do not meet min. income requirements for 5 people but if I have my wife co-sign the sponsorship I meet the min. income requirements. In the image below, I meet the min. income requirements (shown in yellow highlight)

The only family size you are asked to calculate in the app, is as of the date you submit the application. For you that is 5, so you must meet LICO for family size of 5 in 2015,2016,2017. IRCC is not interested in old family sizes that don't apply to your current situation.

So you better add your wife as co-signer if that's whats needed to meet LICO going back to 2015.

Your daughter must be included in your family size, as per the guide: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...application-sponsor-parents-grandparents.html
How to calculate the family size?
Note: Children who meet the definition of a dependent child must be included in the calculation, even if you as a sponsor do not have custody nor provide child support.

Your father's common-law partner must also be included in the application and your family size. They must both pass the medical exam in order for the app to be approved.

With family size of 6, your income required is:
2017 $76,015
2016 $75,174
2015 $73,733

It doesn't matter what you put in lottery form, as long as your father's name was correct. The family size that's important is the size on date you submit the app, so as long as you meet income for 6, that should be fine.

Thanks a lot for the help, it did clear my doubts.

Your family size is calculated when you apply. If you've calculated it properly and it's 5, then you would have to meet minimum requirements for a family of 5 for the previous years as well.
Thanks,

You would have to consider the family size as 5.
In this case Your best bet will be to add your wife as a co-signer.

Thanks. Will do. Appreciate your feedback.

Look in Notice of assessment. Total income is what you needs to write. Note: Some incomes like general EI do not count as income, where as parental EI counts.

in T4 its fields 14

Thank you!! , I recently got my PR earlier I was on work permit so my SIN number got changed, which SIN number I have to mention on Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship [IMM 5768]?

If I have a co-signer and co-signer never sponsored anyone till this point , what would be the family size in co-signer tab under financial evaluation form?
