Please help need info about PR

Hi, I've been in Canada up to 4 years now 2 years on a working visa and 2 years studying. I know I can apply for a postgraduate Visa but I've heard there may be a way to apply for PR but I can't really gather up any information on that, would like to know if anyone can point me in the right direction.

so basically I just need at least 12 months skilled work to think about even appying?

Well, that's the typical program for someone with work experience in Canada (since you said you had a work visa for 2 years), but if you don't qualify for that, then you'll have to check for provincial nomination programs in your province (via Google or reading on this forum), which can sometimes benefit international students.
