Hi
Quick question
We are waiting to get my husbands credentials transferred which has lost us points. We are currently at 317 points and only qualifying for CEC apparently.
Is there no chance we can get ITA at this or do we need to wait for ECA.
Current visas expiring soon so we are in a rush and ECA is going to take a couple months
Thx

Hi,

317 points are too low by seeing current cutoff. However you can apply for PNP if timeline works out. Try to increase IELTS or CELPIP score by writing both of you. Rest depends on timeline and god.

There's zero chance of ITA with only 317 points. You needed 456 to be invited as part of the last round.

Thanks. We got good IELTS since we were British. The problem is that we lost over 100 points because we haven’t had ECA done. We are doing that now. We seem to fit more than one option for PNP but from what I read we still need an invite is that not correct?

Thought so. Looks like we will need to wait for his ECA to get those 100 points back and apply then. Totally sucks, no idea we needed to do that and visas expire in nov. Thanks for your reply anyway.

ECA is a basic requirement. Not sure how you missed that. Given you somehow missed it, I would strongly recommend you go through the program requirements and application requirements in detail to make sure there's nothing else you overlooked.

ECA is a must, and it can take some time to get the assessment reports, so the sooner you start the process the better. Good luck!
