Hello Good people,

My first NOI got expired and My CRS is 435 and I am thinking whether to go for recreating my profile so that I have a chance to receive my NOI again. I talked with two people who told me that they also had received their NOI but had to withdraw their EE profile and once they have recreated their profile they have received their NOI again .

But my dilemma is that if I recreate my profile now surely I will be under tie breaker disadvantage so would you advice me to wait for the cutoff to go down to 435 which i think is very hard this year or I should be recreating my profile right away now or I should I wait for another month or so before recreating? I am kind of totally confused. If you can give me your valuable suggestion I will be very grateful. Thank you so much : )

Dude for me this situation is a no-brainer, I don't know why it's so confusing to you. Let's look at both scenarios:

A. You recreate your profile. You are now eligible to be considered for OINP's NOI, whenever they decide to issue NOIs again. You are still eligible for direct ITA. Only problem: if by any chance (of all the possible numbers) the ITA cutoff lands exactly at 435, AND a tie-breaker rule is applied, you will miss out on getting an ITA that draw. So what? If it's a regular two-week gap draw, you'll get in the next time. This scenario will only happen if and only if the ITA cutoff lands smack on 435.

B. You don't recreate your profile. You are ineligible for OINP (goodbye, your best hope). Your only chance now remains a direct ITA, and you will still get in if the cutoff lands smack on 435. By when exactly is the ITA cutoff expected to drop to 435?

I don't know about you, but I'll chose option A with my eyes closed. :)

Do we get NOI automatically if the score is >400?
I mean anyone who has the Intent to Reside in Ontario and have CRS>400 will receive NOI?
Wish it was that easy my friend... as things stand now, you need to have a CRS in the 430's to stand any chance of being considered for an NOI by OINP. Even at that CRS range, an NOI is not guaranteed.

The minimum requirement for education is any degree that is equal to a Canadian Bachelor's degree. Your occupation does not need to be in the same field as your education, this is not a pre-requisite to be considered for an NOI. However, I do feel that compared to the competition, it may help increase your chances of getting the nomination if your professional experience is somewhat related to your highest degree. Just my intuition though.

With regards to NOCs, so far OINP hasn't published any list for "acceptable" or in-demand NOCs. As far as they're concerned, you should use any NOC that best corresponds to your actual work experience.

Need guidance:

I ordered the duplicate ECA from WES and despite of Un-Selecting the additional report dispatch to CIC they charged me $30 for a hardcopy of the report to be sent to: Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, MCIIT via Standard Mail via Canada Post.

During the initial step of ordering the webpage showed the message: "Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, MCII Your report and verified transcripts will be electronically delivered to this institution. You will be charged a standard delivery fee of $ 7.00."

Please guide what should be done now. The OINP HCP guide says:

"If you already have an ECA report, you must order a duplicate of the report at: https://www.wes.org/ca/apply/xcopycic.asp. The “Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, MCI” must be indicated as the recipient of the report".

So do I need to submit a hard copy to OINP or the electronic copy will suffice ? In case latter, should I ask WES for a refund of $ 30 ?

Seniors and PNPs please guide..Will appreciate your valued responses.

Thanks

I also did the same as you. As per other threads in this forum this was the recommended approach.

In my case, since I wasn't sure whether the electronic copy of the ECA alone would be enough (OINP isn't very clear on this), I did pay the additional amount for the hard copy delivery.

In such unclear situations, my belief is that if you have to err, err on the safer side.

A scaned and uploaded WES report is not enough? I didnt see any other documents other than that in the guide.
