Hi there,

I am planning to sponsor my mother through this class. If I apply during January 2019, I would have to prove the minimum income for 6 people at $76,015 for the year 2017; $75,174 for the year 2016 and $73,733 for the year 2015. I am fine with for 2017 and 2016 minimum requirements however for 2015 my income as stated in line 150 of my personal return is 55,857. Besides this I worked on a contract that year and earned $28,026 and reported this income in the corporate return of my Company in line 8299. I am concerned how would I be able to prove to Immigration officer that the actual earnings were more that the minimum limit of $73,733 in the year 2015. Can someone look into this and help me resolve this concern.

Thanks

I hope you find someone oni this forum with a similar case but I am not one of them.

My two cents: you have to prove your income for a particular year (from salaried sources/company sources/etc). Your corporate return is your return, its your corporation so its your income. I dont see why this would be an issue.

I think its just the passport info page and that's it. Entry/exit stamps they wanna see when you file for citizenship to calculate the physical present days.
Thanks for the quick reply, do you know if there a link where CIC stats for this ?

does CIC my account has different results or more info
i'm not able to link my application the system couldn't find my app.

IRCC only cares about the income stated on NOA. You can submit the equivalent of the NOA for the corporate income. Also, if you're planning to apply in 2019 we don't know the requirements yet. May be you will be asked to provide NOA for 2016-18 or 2015-17 so you might be in luck.

Does any one know ? with PGP application do we have to send copy of all the pages (including blank ones) or Just the one with applicant's information/ visa's & entry/exit stamps ?
You just need the first couple of pages with passport holder info.

Just linked mine today. I filled everything with my parent's information - applying for dad (principal) + mom (dependent)
1) Choose: Permanent Residency > Family Sponsor (PGP)
2) Choose: Application Number (the one in the letter of SA) + Last Name - I realized that my parents were assigned UCI different than mine which was on the letter of SA.
3) Choose: Passport for personal information and filled that using my dad's passport
4) Filled province/city accordingly + married + number of family members = 3 (me + dad + mom)

Hope that helps.

But it says, file is forwarded to Ottawa.

“You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in CPC-Ottawa for further processing. This visa office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.”
