1- Pakistan. Assuming they're visitors in Canada. When we applied they're here as well but we mentioned Pakistan and there's no objection.
2- You can provide an affidavit.
thanks @spy118, so you did not mention the CA address in any forms except the backgroud form where you need to list all the addresses? In forms IMM008, IMM5406 (additional family information) you mentioned Pakistan's address. Is that correct? Sorry for being repetitive but just wanna make sure I get it right.

Yes, for the applicant we provided their home address in Pakistan. For us as sponsors, we mentioned the Canadian address.

Hello forum members,
One question, Do I need to provide a Statutory Declaration of Common Law Union, even if my common law partner is not a co-signer?
I have enough income to support all my family members, my mom and dad, my common law partner (permanent resident) and me(sponsor). Total of 4 persons.

Thank you

It's a good idea to have a co-signer even though you don't need them. IRCC could recheck income down the road and it'd come in handy if you come up short for some reason.

Hi everyone,
I sent in my application last year for my parents. Haven't heard anything yet...just that they received all the papers. How long does it take for the whole thing....3-4 years?
What is the next step now ? Just wait...
I was also hoping I could link my application online, to check for status/news. Anyone know how, or is there a number to call?
Thanks,

Hey guys,
A very dumb question regarding the letter saying: " You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office... My understanding is that the sponsorship has been approved, and the rest is the evaluation of my parents eligibility to fulfill the PR requirements, is that right? Will they still be asking for support/financial statement from the sponsor part?
Thank you!

The processing time varies from country to country. Although, the CIC/ IRCC website has mentioned that they are working on files from Jan 2014, it seems like they are taking about 4 years on an average. BUT on the basis of some timeline excel files I have seen in this forum/ website for some countries the processing time is about 9 months and for other its 2 years and for others more than 3 years, it just depends. At this moment, what you should do is make sure that there is no mistakes in the file and do not miss any documents which have been asked for. A mistake in form or missing a document could prolong the process quite a bit. Good Luck!
Here is the link for timelines data created by some amazing people/ applicants in this forum. Do check it: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B_YAyszLcUxbfe0ur7WPZRPJ0y2COpRJSt8Ce19yrhI/edit#gid=1444578034

This is sponsorship approval. IRCC could still randomly check income requirements during the entire process but there's no official requirement to recheck.

I think its just the passport info page and that's it. Entry/exit stamps they wanna see when you file for citizenship to calculate the physical present days.
