I also got the prearrival service email today. I live in Montreal and I finished my medical in January. See timeline below.

A friend of mine got it too before me and he received it before his medical exam request. He called cic to find out what it means and they said to ignore it if you are an inland applicant.

I think it's a general email they send out.

My timeline;
March 20th 2017 submitted pr
May 29th 2017 got AOR
December 19th 2017 got mmr

Hi friends, Can any one suggest me what to do in the below mentioned situation. I am an outland applicant, my visa office is New Delhi. I got PPR email. In the email it is mentioned that I should send passports to NDVO with in 30 days via VFS. It is also mentioned that : if you have a MAILING ADDRESS IN CANADA and you AND YOUR ALL ACCOMPAYNING DEPENDENTS ARE CURRENTLY IN CANADA YOU MAY SUBMIT PASSPORTS TO CPC- OTTAWA.

I applied from outside Canada (NEPAL) and now i am living in Canada with my family.
So where should I send ourPASSPORTS? New delhi or CPC-Ottawa??
Plz reply.

Send to CPC-Ottawa. They know you are in canada so they gave you the option to choose.

Congrats

Hi,

I got my PPR on 7th Mar and submitted on 8th Mar. Reached High Commission of Canada, Delhi India on 9th Mar. How long it will take / When will i get my passport back..? as i have been been waiting since 2 weeks. PPR means 100% sure ??

My federal application will be review by the hong kong office. If I move back to Canada in August will this be transfer to in-land office? Will this delay my PR application?

Hi,
anyone has the file waiting in a queue for initial review ? or anyone knows how long this takes ?

thank you,

Haha I hope so and thanks for your good wishes. But not reality I think I may have to wait a little longer. They current processing time is 15 months and currently I am at 12. Furthermore, some people are getting the prearrival even before the medical so I am a little sceptical .

It's been a journey... And it's not over till it's over
