what is the hypothesis behind this... i think this year we can predict based on the past activities... this year with each ielts result many are joining above 440 and even 450-460 and above..

I am using the data from the previous weeks alone so that the averages are more near what it would be now and yes the average intake is way higher than last year.

A heartiest congratulations!
Best of luck in your next procedure!
Thank you. Keep me posted on your updates, I can receive you in Pearson's airport :D

Many Congratulations!!
May i know when did u receive the NOI from Ontario, ie how long before you got the nomination
Thanks for the wishes.
I got a NOI on june 17, but unfortunately the stream closed just when I was registering for application (I can still remember the day!!)
Gratefully, they re-opened the stream in November and I submitted my application in a day. (don't want to loose another chance:))
I got nominated on Jan5th and proceeded submission of the PR application on Jan 25.

Hi all, I’ve been following ROH for months but this is my first time to post here and it’s been a long wait since last year for my score 426 so i checked the trend myself.

Mar 14 3000 456
Feb 21 3000 442
Feb 7 3000 442
Jan 24 2750 444
Jan 10 2750 446
Dec 20 2750 446
Dec 6 2750 452
Nov 15 2750 439

Based on the trend above, if draw is done every 2 weeks, the point decrease is only between 0-6. So on average 3. Even if they increase the draw size gradually by 250-500, the point decrease will still be around that only because the rate of people going into the pool above 440-450 is also much faster than previous months/years.

I only used 2 points decrease just to be conservative in case there’s 3 week gap, no increase in draw size or separate draw for other programs, etc. But then again the scores will be +/-2 because there are times that draw size is same with 2 weeks gap and score remains the same. So only back to back draws can significantly drop the scores then the same trend continues from that.

March 454
April 452
April 450
May 448
May 446
June 444
June 442
July 440
July 438
August 436
August 434
September 432
September 430
October 428
October 426
November 424
November 422
December 420
December 418

The cut off depends on the pool composition at each CRS range and the number of ITAs issued, so you cannot assume 2 point change in every draw.

If there is going to be a draw, requesting everyone to avoid questions like the below and let others have some peace of mind.
  • It is already 5.30 AM in Canada.. why the draw hasn't happened yet?
  • At what time it will happen?
  • My CRS is 483. Will I be able to get an ITA?
  • It is already 18 mins after they announced the CRS cut-off. But I still have not received the ITA. Is this normal??

;)

We can avoid giving answer to such questions..
But questions for sure will come:p
It is just like a minister visiting a storm hit area in helicopter;):D

What is the cut-off? Who announced the CRS cut-off? Where CIC posted this cut-off?

  • My CRS is 483. Will I be able to get an ITA? This question was beautifully trolled on one of the previous RoHs, but it got to the point where people started to actually believe it... I don't support playing such a trick, but personally, the guy who asked for it needed a reality check.

I am so happy for both of you and hope to meet you guys in Canada soon!

Thank you, and many congratulations to you too; you made it through!!

Congrats @xibalban and @iamxty .. your story is perfect for a Hollywood movie :)

Well, we're looking for a producer, director and a good cast. Any suggestions? Lol!!! Thank you!!

Congrats @xibalban and @iamxty for your PPR. I never thought I would come across a couple who would marry after meeting someone on discussion boards. Your's is an amazing story!!

True, ours is a one of a kind encounter.

Wow Wow!! Congratulations and many good wishes for this news. Happy to know.

Good luck ahead to @iamxty and @xibalban

Thanks!!!

Congratulations to @iamxty and her husband on your PPR!
May you land safe and enjoy your moment, good luck for the rest :)

I forgot to tag you in my long list of friends, oops - and you reciprocated well, huh?? Thank you, I hope the little - soon to be Canadian - boy is doing fine.

Please get in touch if you are in Toronto. I'm in school here now. Been trying to get a ROH get together here. Moose17 may be around too. Haven't been here lately because too much homework

Keep inspiring us, and thank you very much. We shall sure meet up, very soon.

And now, the award for the funniest post of the month goes to:

"I got married to @xibalban, whom I met in this forum."

*reads and faints*

Similarly, the award for the most confused post goes to:

Wow that’s great to know,
Congratulations on the PPR and the baby boy.
God bless the child. He is sure gonna be a fighter just like his parents.
The future is bright for him and both of you.
True that both of you had been an inspiration for a lot of people.
Would advise you to pen down your experience as a blog or a book.
Wishing you and @iamxty all the best for future and the new life.
God bless us all.

I beg your pardon for the rhetoric. I was speaking (err writing) metaphorically. By baby boy, I meant our PPR.
Well, wanting to write a book is on the cards for me, but I hope I don't end up publishing a confusing book.

Thank you for the heads-up!!
