RCMP will give you the results of the check not the digital finger print.Guys,
As predicted , the letter in my mailbox was for Finger print request.
When i went to the website provides in the letter ( https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...nadian-citizen/apply/submit-fingerprints.html ) it says that i can get my fingerprints done from
My question is, what would be the fastest and reliable method to do this?
- your local police service
- the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
- an RCMP-accredited fingerprint company
The letter says if rcmp wont send the reaults directly to IRCC then i have to forward them to the office.
In that case, how rcmp(or rcmp accredited compan) will give me the digital finger prints that i will forward to IRCC? A print? USB? Or CD drive ?
In my case, my husband was requested for FP. So, we call a police office and they said they don't provide FP services for citizenship, only the accredited agencies. He went to an accredited agency, they took the fingerprints and sent them to the RCMP, so the RCMP send the FP direct to your citizenship office, because in the agency they fill out a form with your application number, your name, and the address of the citizenship office and they send it to the RCMP along with the FP.Guys,
