Hello all!

I'm in the process of applying for a Canadian visitor visa, I'm venezuelan living legally in Mexico for the past 2 years (residency expires on november and every year I renew it).

My fiancé is an US citizen living in Michigan, I've been denied 3 times a tourist visa for the US so we have to get creative of places to go, he usually comes here but this time we are thinking about going to Canada because he can drive there and plane tickets for me are affordable.

My question is: Can I include his information on my purpose of travel letter? We are engaged and currently applying for a fiance visa for me, we have the supporting letter of case under evaluation, what I want to prove is that I am already involved in a immigration process to move USA so no point to stay longer in canada... I also have a work here in México (but no assets or family).

About the money, We are going to share expenses, bu mostly my fiance will be paying for the trip, I have a saving accounts with +- USD $700 plus my monthly income, is that enough money to spend a 5 days trip? (considering we are sharing expenses) or should I add an statement letter from him saying he'll take care of money? We already have hotel reservations but no plane tickets because doesn't makes sense to buy those before the visa.

PS: I apply for the electronic visa so I'll send everything on paper.

As this is a third country your intentions with your bf/fiance are irrelevant. Canada wants enough evidence that you will leave after your visit. In this case it looks like you have no reason to stay so adding your bf/fiance to your "purpose of visit" is a good argument. Make him give you a letter of invitation, where he will say that both of you are on vacation, and that you are in process of a fiance visa in the USA. Attach any relevant information.

Yes that was exactly my thought, so he can write like a letter stating that but it wouldn't bw exactly a letter of invitation because he's not a canadian citizen right?

And in another topic, can I translate to English my own documents? (Just the employment letter).

You do not need to be a Canadian citizen to invite someone. A letter of invitation is that... just an invite.

No. Translations should all be done by certified translations.
