Tourist Visa for Canada

I applied for tourist visa for Canada paid a fee of rupees 6500/- but got the passport back without any visa stamp is this a oblique business transaction being played by visa officers of Canada high commission at New Delhi a new way of making money out of needy persons I had to go to Vancouver to leave my daughter there for studies in Alexander college burnaby Vancouver

This type of high handed ness by the Canada high commission needs to be explored I have been to Singapore and Bangkok earlier and now plan to visit London where visa costs were 1500/- , 1800/- & 8000/- ( London for min of 6 months respectively

Unfortunately, you have been refused. You can email NDVO (New Delhi visa office) to request for the refusal letter which states the grounds for refusal.

Travels to Singapore and Thailand don't count as travel history because it is very easy to get visas

That doesn't sound right, did you get a rejection letter or something explaining no stamped visa? Also have you reached out to them for explanation?

There was a mail stating you don’t meet our requirement, and don’t apply till situation improves considerably, no further correspondence, the Mail got deleted from the server on its own. So did not apply again so far

As per CIC website, no refunds for refused visa as they treat it as processing fee.

It was like the sanctioning officer felt I would stay there, I could have sent my daughter’s visa pic but it had not come till then, I did not buy a return ticket as daughters flight was not fixed
