what documents do they have? your ECA needs to be in softcopy...your IELTS too we need to give the number as reference...arent they giving you your profile login details?

Friends,

I'd attempted IELTS exam 3 times (in India) and my scores are in
Ist attempt:- L-8.0, R-6.5,W-7.0,S-7.0
2nd attempt:- L-8.5, R-8.0,W-6.5,S-7.0
3rd attempt:- L-8.0, R-7.5,W-7.5,S-6.5.

I'd applied IELTS revaluation on Jan 27, 2018 for my 3rd attempt. I didn't get my revaluation result till now.
Please let me know
1. When will I get my revaluation result? / How long it will take to get my revaluation result in India?
2. Will I get my result notification in SMS/e-mail as well as in post ?
3. Is there any possibility that I will get 0.5 in speaking in my 3rd attempt of IELTS revaluation result? ( I did fine only in speaking, but somehow, I got 6.5)
4. Will there be any refund if there is any score changes ?. if yes, how the amount will get credited?

Kindly reply

Many Thanks,
rthoguluva

1. When will I get my revaluation result? / How long it will take to get my revaluation result in India? --> someone told me 1-1.5 months
2. Will I get my result notification in SMS/e-mail as well as in post ? --> yes...just like a normal result.
3. Is there any possibility that I will get 0.5 in speaking in my 3rd attempt of IELTS revaluation result? ( I did fine only in speaking, but somehow, I got 6.5)--> Yes it can go up, remain same or go down further. In this forum I remember seeing a profile signature where the re-evaluation decresed scores in 2 sections. I am not writing this to scare you, but all thee scenarios are possible.
4. Will there be any refund if there is any score changes ?. if yes, how the amount will get credited? --> There wont be any refund in any scenario whatsoever.

You don't lose points in the revaluation, the higher score is maintain. And if any of the scores you assign for a revaluation changes, you get a full refund of the amount you paid for the revaluation.

Your score do not go down. You can find this info on the faq ielts' website. I asked te review twice, last time in January. The official deadline is 10 weeks, but I received the first answer after a month. Have you read the ielts conditions to ask for a review?

Yes trcosta, I read the review in IELTS revaluation section. Still I would like to get info who has applied the revaluation. That's why I've posted this.
I've applied the revaluation on Jan 27, 2018. I didn't receive revaluation result till now. Could you please let me know how to track the result or any contact info to mail them for asking status of my IELTS revaluation result?

Hi All,

How much difference gonna be there in the actual CRS score (at the time of EOI) vs CRS score calculated through CIC website?
Just curios to know, since i'm sitting at 452 and waiting for my ECA now!!

Usually it remains the same. Atleast in my case there was no difference.

I must say this is the closest I have been to a draw number sitting at 441. I am really happy that I am this close and hope for the draw to be on schedule because my profile was created on June 13th 2017. In May when my wife finish school in Canada, my score will jump another 20 points, therefore, I am good either way. My main reason for the score to drop is so that people who's profile will be expired , or whose birthday is up coming and do not have Canadian Work Experience or someone studying somewhere to improve their score will only get lower and lower. For all people sitting in the 400s and up is to ensure that they select Ontario for their interest and recreat their profiles. $1500 is a small price to pay to ensure you get your PR. Based on the draws being very consistent, there is hope for the score to reduce, however, you will stand a better chance getting a NOI for even Ontario and delay any action until you get a direct ITA. This is just my foolish advise. For people who take this thread for a joke or have negative energy, this is certainly not the place. Some people have taken Ielts or Celpip more than 6 times(6*350 = 2100 ), not to mention all the PCC that have become expired and early medical that was done to expedite the process. This is real money being spent, out of savings that are required to meet the financial cut required for Federal Skill Worker Category.
congrats bro. So you got it finally..
