visa sponsorship!

hey guys!
so i met my ex in australia and we came to canada together, we applied for him to sponsor me in may 2017, but then we withdrew the application literally 2 weeks later because we ended things.
i am now with a new partner who is willing to sponsor me so i can stay and we can be together. we will meet all requirements by the end of the year, but i am
wondering if anyone has gone through this before? where you have applied then withdraw, and applied again with a different sponsor!? i’m sure it’ll be fine, im just curious!

It's fine - your application may just be examined more closely since an application to sponsor you was previously submitted by someone else.
