I would suggest you write your MP as well as the Ahmed Hussein. I think this it completely unjustifiable, if that was the only reason . The letter mentions the answers on your interview ? Do you remember what was asked and how you answered it ? I think your best bet is to also order notes to see what made them decide to refuse you.
What country is the applicant from
I just got my refusal yesterday. I have no clue what to do and i feel that my life is destroyed. I wosh I could help you. Havent done anything yet.

I can only imagine... don't lose hope. I don't think they're doubting your marriage, I just think they must think it's not within cultural norms and therefore maybe you two are only engaged ? What VO was it sent to ??

What did the applicant answer during the interview? That will give you an idea on where it went wrong

Well, I believe you need to definitely write your MP . That would be the first step as well as ordering notes to see what made them refuse you. Did you two go on a honeymoon at all ?
I totally agree with you

I born here and I am following Lebanese Culture... Sorry I am Canadian, and I was raised as Canadian.. They are totally putting us on another discussion about our believes, am I Canadian or Lebanese!!!

no we did not. But that does not define a true marriage. I cannot beleive they would do that. You think it's because we didn't go on honeymoon?

Well I'm just trying to think of ideas as to why they would refuse you based on what you've said. So you two didn't have a honeymoon, which is fine, as long as you clearly explained it when you submitted the application?
Did you two live together after the wedding, and did you say that in the application? Was there a lot of pictures of you two and family members after the wedding ?

If you give me a run down on what you submitted on your app, how long you two have been together, if you two visited eachother at all during the sponsorship process I think we can figure out why they might of questioned the marriage. Just remember, you can always go back and either re do the wedding or go live together for a few months and then reapply.

My lawyer advised me to go back and redo. it's just so hard and does not make any sense. She did clearly state to him during the interview that she believes we are engaged. we sent tons and tons of pics with everyone. I had a huge ceremony, not only 1, i had like 3. She asked if we had a real relationship, and he said no, since neither of us were ready. Plus that is completely personal, it's none of her business and people fear this thing at the beginning. Yea I was there for 1 month, but we got married towards the end, she did tell him before he left I would have appreciated if you lived together. I am a student and I work. I am full time occupied and did not have the time to stay longer.
They did not ask about any honeymoon proofs, so they do not have the right to judge us. She also asked him at the beginning of the interview if he brought any pictures with him, WHEN THEY DID NOT REQUEST IT IN THE E-MAIL PRIOR TO THE INTERVIEW.
