Hi All

Have been going through your posts. I am currently in the pool at CRS 428.

Profile goes this way:-

Age-22
Sibling in Canada- Yes ( Currently staying in Ontario )
Education- Bachelors Degree (3 years) - Verified by WES
Work Experience- 1.5 years in Marketing
IELTS GT- S-8.5, R-9, L-9, W- 7
Date of joining EE- 4th Oct 17

I am also doing my PG Diploma in Business Administration (1-year course) through Dist. Learning from IMT-CDL. The course finishes in Jun 2018.

Except for this, I have registered for a 1-yr PG Diploma in International Business from IGNOU in Jan this year.

I wanted to seek opinion on the following:-

1) I just wanted to know the feasibility of getting through CRS 428. By when can I expect the same considering close to 5k applicants in the range of 431-440.
2) A major challenge is getting the Dist. Learning credential verified. Which agency would you prefer for this and how much time would it take to get the IMT credential evaluated?

PS- My score changes to 461 if I get this evaluated. I have gone through various threads and got to know that WES won't verify it.

3) Best Strategies to get through the cut-off in less time

PS- I have no knowledge of the French language.

With strictly 2 week gap draws and 3000 ITAs, it could take a very very long time or never reach that score. If they have 1 week gap draws with 3000 ITAs OR more number of ITAs are issued in each draw, then there is a good chance for CRS 428 cut off.

2) A major challenge is getting the Dist. Learning credential verified. Which agency would you prefer for this and how much time would it take to get the IMT credential evaluated?
I am not aware of this particular institution, but IQAS is usually preferred for assessing distant learning credentials. Please research on the same.

3) Best Strategies to get through the cut-off in less time
Increasing work experience, PG diploma assessed as soon as you finish the course, increase IELTS writing score to CLB 10 (only 3 point increase).

At age 22, you have a lot of time on your hand, unlike the majority here. :)

What r the chances of draw today....
1 week gap draws are not a common occurrence. The last time it happened was on Nov 15th (3 months back). There is only a 20% chance for that to happen based on past EE draw trends.

So sad! Do you guys know any other ways to get a job offer in Canada? Like any other websites? Because, i heard that a job offer provides 50 additional points!!! Any additional points are really crucial.
The job offer needs to be LMIA approved job offer. What is your NOC? There truly shouldn't be one with your skills in entire Canada available to work to get LMIA.

How you are so specific 20%, as far as I know cic is unpredictable.

Most of you guys might not like this but actually it is a very good sign that CIC became more stable with the draws. No more back to back draws so far also correlates well with no more "once a month" draws or stupid Friday draws or only God know what else. All this also means that CIC became more respectful to us and maybe Canada one day will become a fully civilized country. I was already starting to hate Canada as it resembled to much of my own corrupted homeland country which I try to escape at all costs. If the draws were conducted in my homeland country you could well expect the draws to happen back-to-back daily if somebody sitting at 400 bribed the minister but then the draws would stop for ages due to exceeded quota too. So this is my ray of hope that Canada would actually be different.

That's a hyperbole, Canada is actually one of the least corrupt countries, so draws are already planned ahead and the intake definitely will have been decided long time on...
And being the least least corrupted and the best best country in the world it was still having this CIC and everything lagging besides Australia, for example, where draws were always very predictable. I'm glad it is no longer the case.

Yes, I guess so. Not sure though if they exclude folks living in other provinces.
True. Would you happen to know if anyone has got NOI despite living out of the province?
Also, will it make any impact to my profile if I include Ontario in the Province of Interest ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pre-Assessed..
I'm doing my immigration through a consultancy and they said that it would be a bad decision for me to accept Pnp nomination since it demands more money and more TIME (upto 3,4 months) for the process. I mean, if it needs more time then what's the good thing about it? Because, i possibly get it in the normal way if i wait for 3 months. Why spend these additional cash and time?
The rejection rate for PNP if you have the needed documents is very very low.
Successful PNP means a secured ITA and also gives a chance for a second ITA if you miss any document (like PCC, which is discovered within first 2 months after ITA).
Costs for Ontario PNP equals to app. 1 month rent for a small apartment in GTA and are less than a monthly salary on a minimum wage.

On the other hand:
Nobody can tell you how draws will look next 6 months.
Nobody can guarantee you that the CRS will go down.
Aging is a however a surety. (and loosing points from it).

Choice is yours.

You will get it it's just that you have to wait a bit

Hi, everyone,
Anyone could kindly advise how big chance for 437? Thank you!
With current pattern of 3000 ITAs and bi-weekly draws, experts predict it will reach that score by May-June. But the number of people entering pool is increasing day by day so this prediction can change anytime. Btw i am on 436 losing points on May 1 because of age.
